Well, buckle up. Because in the next few weeks:
- we’ll be shoehorned into the Cotton Bowl, despite deserving the Sugar Bowl;
- our beloved senior QB will be left out of the Heisman ceremony because he got hurt and missed one game; and
- Hyatt will lose the Biletnikoff, despite leading the nation in basically every meaningful receiving statistic.

Gonna be a lot of hate to dish out.

It’s gonna be a mess in the playoffs in a few years when a small G5 school like App St or Tulane is hosting a big P5 program like Ohio St in their small stadium for the wildcard round.
Eh. It'll be relatively rare. I mean someone is going to the playoffs as a division winner in the NFC south.... And they're all currently under .500. while some 10-7 team watches on tv

Where is anyone complaining about our season?
Where is anyone talking about the Big12?
They are talking about Harrison being over Hyatt when Hyatt beats him in every single category. That is not complaining or being a victim, that is stating facts. Hyatt had a better year and has better stats. If that is complaining by just stating statistical facts, then I don’t know what to say.

Harrison 74 1157 12
Hyatt 67 1267 15

Less receptions, more yards, and more TDs.

Haha…I meant around here in Oklahoma!

Cotton Bowl is salivating at the potential matchup of Tennessee vs UCF. They're going to push for us.

Cotton Bowl doesn't always have the best attendance. Orange Bowl doesn't have that problem.

Bryce Young to the Texans so they can once again ruin the potential career of a young QB....ya hate to see it
Will Levis to the Lions, it won't matter WHERE he goes mostly likely he's going to flame out regardless but talk about getting buried without a chance
CJ Stroud to the Seahawks this makes sense and would be a solid pick...I think Pete is more likely to wait and try to get a value QB later in the draft but I could see it

Jordan Addison as the 1st WR taken? Doubt that happens even though the WR class isn't really stacked (quite a few names aren't eligible yet, another reason I think Hyatt goes). I think Xavier Hutchnison has the size and production to impress NFL scouts and if he runs a fast 40 and looks good at combine he'd be a name to watch. I think Hyatt will also be in consideration, especially if they see that speed in person and he clocks an impressive 40 time. Rome Odunze and Jalen McMillan both are eligible for the draft and had better seasons at Washington than Addison at USC. I think Jordan is taken early, but don't think he'll be the first WR off the board and I really doubt a WR gets taken in the first 15 picks. Also Quentin Johnston, Jaxon Smith-Njigba (he didn't even play this season...they really think he did enough last year to be a high pick?)

Lord...that mock is a mess, they list all these WRs that had pretty weak seasons compared to Hyatt or Hutchinson and yet neither of them was even mentioned.

I actually could see the Titan taking a RB with that 1st round pick...but I actually think Gibbs or even Eric Gray (I know) would better fit there. Henry is who they hitched their wagon too, I'd assume they'd like to bring in a chance of pace guy that could be utilized in the passing game instead of another big back.
Not with needs at LT, WR and pass rusher. Not to mention they've tried that route already and burned draft capital, they like the backup they have and are trying to keep him fresh and bringing him along slowly through special teams. No way they take a running back that high..... As I said earlier if they do JRob should be kicked out of the draft room and fired immediately.

I'd like to see them snag a pass rusher with that first pick myself. Especially if Byron Young or Verse or someone similar is there. Hell I'd be pretty happy if they grabbed Darnell Wright (although he's a RT).

We will see...I haven't been a huge fan of how Robinson drafts the 1st round he's had a lot of misses. Seems to do better in the later rounds getting value guys and "best available"

Maybe I'm wrong, but I wouldn't expect fans to travel all that well. The feeling of being slighted and a boring matchup. Bleh

We've prided ourselves for packing the damn Gator Bowl for over a decade and suddenly we're going to turn our noses to the Cotton bowl?

Things could be better but 11-2 with a Cotton bowl win sounds really good considering where we were 3 months ago.

Tennessee: Nicholaus Iamaleava, QB
2023 ESPN 300 ranking: 32
Iamaleava is a 6-foot-6, 195-pound quarterback from Downey, California, and is ranked as the No. 6 pocket-passer in the country. He is the highest-ranked commit in the class and followed his 2,244-yard, 33-touchdown junior season with 1,986 passing yards and 25 touchdowns as a senior.
Both Hendon Hooker and Joe Milton III are seniors and coach Josh Heupel will need a new quarterback. The staff have sophomores Gaston Moore and Navy Shuler, as well as freshman Tayven Jackson, but none have a significant amount of experience.
Given the lack of depth, Iamaleava should have an opportunity to come in and compete right away.

ESPN doesn't know that Milton is returning? Holy crap!
Was listening to Nashville sports radio and both the hosts were talking about Joe not returning, and then want to act like they are experts regarding UT. Come on man...

I’m telling you, if LSU gets butt mugged this weekend, that’ll give the committee a reason to jump us back over Bama. After a loss, LSU will be comparable with South Carolina in win/loss and rankings. That will make it come down to head to head… advantage = us.
I'm telling you that if one of the top 4 loses we could jump thembecause we won't make the playoff but if there happens to be 2 lose (USC and TCU) Bama will stay in front.

Seeing “Gods plan” in virtually every transfer portal entry announcement.

Seriously doubt God is involved in the portal, but idk.

I'd prefer one of them to be creative and say something like, "While I was drinking wine and participating in an orgy in the forest recently, I had a vision that told me to enter the Transfer Portal. Dionysus' Plan."
