We lost to SC on the road by precisely 3 points more than Ohio State lost to Michigan...at home....everybody gets hung up on the SC point total instead of the actual margin.it's hard to defend a team in this context that gave up 6 trillion points to Spencer Rattler. I don't like it, but I understand it. That's all I'm saying.
it's worse than that:
GPD says they received a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). The tip says that a Discord user distributed an image of child sexual abuse material.
After further investigating it was revealed that two images were shared from the... Discord account.
.
How lame would that be after the season we've had to get left out of the NY6 altogether? I think at that point the CFP committee would intervene and push for Ohio State to go to the Rose Bowl, so TN/Bama gets Orange/Cotton.SIAP I'm 20 pages behind.
Listening to Josh and Swain today a caller asked what would happen if LSU beat GA.
If that happened, LSU would go to the Sugar bowl, Bama to Cotton and TN to the Citrus. If OSU did go to the Orange Bowl.
But bad losses don't "Trump everything else"...LSU is in the SEC championship game because they beat Alabama head to head. The fact that we destroyed LSU on their field is irrelevant. The same holds true for every other conference...and the NFL and...etc etc etc etc..Don't get blown out by bad teams. That's the cardinal rule. If we had 3 losses should we still be ranked ahead of them because we beat them? It's not a binary situation, you don't automatically get to be ranked ahead of someone because you beat them. I think we deserve to be ranked over Bama, but I'm not blind enough to expect it when bad losses have always, always trumped everything else.
We been screwed. There’s no other way to look at it.But bad losses don't "Trump everything else"...LSU is in the SEC championship game because they beat Alabama head to head. The fact that we destroyed LSU on their field is irrelevant. The same holds true for every other conference...and the NFL and...etc etc etc etc..
Head to head is always the first tie-breaker in every sport I can think of.
