Yeah, should we be buckling up because it's gonna be an exciting ride or because we're about to have a head-on collision with players leaving?

Can't imagine any players with a real future here leaving.

Yeah they do. If the LSU team that beat Bama shows up and the UGA team that almost choked against Mizzou is on the other sideline, LSU definitely has a shot.

We lost to SC on the road by precisely 3 points more than Ohio State lost to Michigan...at home....everybody gets hung up on the SC point total instead of the actual margin.

We didn't get beat any worse on the road than OSU did at home.

How lame would that be after the season we've had to get left out of the NY6 altogether? I think at that point the CFP committee would intervene and push for Ohio State to go to the Rose Bowl, so TN/Bama gets Orange/Cotton.

But bad losses don't "Trump everything else"...LSU is in the SEC championship game because they beat Alabama head to head. The fact that we destroyed LSU on their field is irrelevant. The same holds true for every other conference...and the NFL and...etc etc etc etc..

Head to head is always the first tie-breaker in every sport I can think of.
