Transfer portal discussion

He is small, but did have 12 receptions against Bama and had over 1,000 yards receiving this year. He was clearly their go-to guy, racking up >40% of AP's total passing yards on the season. For reference, Hyatt had 31% of ours.
Not gonna lie.............I'm pissed!
I get it though.:(

Also on Tennessee players leaving I have no inside information, but deep down I think Jackson will transfer back to Cincinnati you know he has to see the writing on the wall

No reason to pick one over the other. If he wants to come here, let them duke it out during camp. Milton would probably win out given his familiarity with the system, timing, and scrambling ability. But I would be down for the added competition.
I think familiarity with the system gets over exaggerated by a lot of fans. Especially if your QB knows the system like the back of his hand, but makes poor decisions and misses over half of his throws and most of his deep balls. Card is fairly mobile and is a much better passer than Milton. I think Heupel would be able to tailor the offense to him pretty well also

Son of a MFB!

He's a 2X All Conference WR!
Fast and great hands.

Austin Peay WR Drae McCray entered the transfer portal; in 22 games with the Govs, the Freshman All-American and All-Conference performer, has totaled 129 rec for 1,888 yards and 17 TD
Sorry for your loss.

Sims would be the type of QB that blows up in Heupel's system. I believe that we need another QB for competition at that position. A battle between Milton, Nico, Jackson and a quality transfer could only make the winner of that competition better. I do not care who the QB is, I only want that position to have the best player possible running things.

Yeah should have 2 or 3 years left. 6'3" 210lbs was a 4 star dual threat kid outta HS and even with GA Tech being the offense they are he had very good numbers there.

He has over 35 total TDs 23 INTS 😳.
BUT
4,500 yards passing along 1,000 rushing🤔

I watched him as a freshman and thought he was going to be a star.

This is definitely a guy we could kick the tires on.
Or...Lane Kiffin and Ole Miss...
