I think Heupel showed last year that he wasn't afraid to have a big QB battle. Will we try to take QB Hudson Card from Texas might be a good option for backup or Starter
Would love to agree, but I can't shake knowing he had Hooker and watched him then decided to go grab Milton. Just goes to show that there are no sure things. If the portal presents a known entity at QB, I don't see how you don't make the move. No guarantees with anyone in our QB room....well... pretty sure what we have in Milton, but everyone else is an unknown. We have a coach who can be trusted to identify and develop QB talent as well as any in America. We will learn just how much faith Heupel has in the notion that one of Milton/Jackson/Iamaleava will be the man in 2023 by watching his actions with regard to QBs in the transfer portal. If he goes hard after one or more, he feels we need help. If he stands pat, he likes what we have and feels confident one or more will develop by next season. It’ll be interesting to see. Whichever path he chooses, I trust him on this front.
I have no idea if they pursue or not and don’t care but I’ll just say if Juwan Mitchell is out here getting regular snaps then this dude would def help out in a big wayBased on your message I don’t know if blue font was needed for sarcasm or not. I didn’t look at stats I just watched that video and looked like he could help add depth and rotational piece to LB core

Okay. This thread is strangely addicting.
It's sort of like Old School National Signing day, but slower lol
Right??
I mean look at what Lincoln Riley did with USC this year.
He TOTALLY made the right call by leaving Norman.
Honestly, I think Jaylen Wright is a better RB than any of those guys at USC, and I would worry if they came after him.
We have to make sure our house is in order. I don't like to hear that Pearce is having to be rerecruited.
He should have played a lot more.
No reason to pick one over the other. If he wants to come here, let them duke it out during camp. Milton would probably win out given his familiarity with the system, timing, and scrambling ability. But I would be down for the added competition.I would definitely take him over Joe. Don’t get me wrong, Joe stuck around when he didn’t have to and may be a great teammate. I just don’t see him leading the current projected roster for next season to anything better than 8-4 unless we have a great defense and running game
Son of a MFB!
He's a 2X All Conference WR!
Fast and great hands.
Austin Peay WR Drae McCray entered the transfer portal; in 22 games with the Govs, the Freshman All-American and All-Conference performer, has totaled 129 rec for 1,888 yards and 17 TD
