People say Milton is choosing that read. Not hard for coaches to say "whatever you do don't throw the deep ball for the next 5 passes." We shouldn't be allowing him to throw it deep that often.I think he has “the touch”, when he lets things flow. He tries to force highlights and loses natural rhythm. Whole career thing. That first drive exemplifies the theory. Playcalling didn’t exactly shake him out of that rut. “Go long MUTHA*****!” Shouldn’t be the base philosophy.
There will be HELL TO PAY if they do that.As long as Georgia, Michigan. TCU, and USC win next weekend, they should be in. Should USC or TCU lose, Ohio State could sneak in. SEC Network is trying to push the narrative of Bama sneaking in. No way in hell should Bama even be in consideration. ESPN has been pushing this idea of a 2-loss team making it. I don't care what happened at SCar, if any 2-loss team deserves to make it, and I'm not convinced they do, but if they did, it would be Tennessee. Ranking Bama above us is pure bias and in no way reflective of actual logic.
I say they have us at 7. Bama and Ohio State will be in the 6 and 5 spots. They could put Bama 5, but they certain shouldn't. Top 4 should be Georgia, Michigan, TCU, and USC.The people that do the ranks will have us around number seven at best more than likely number eight. Watch out for the CFP, before it's all over it will be a money driven and sports writer sh*t show and somebody that doesn't deserve a chance will make it and feelings will be hurt.

I think some sports talk guy said before the game that there wasn't a lot of orange there. That was my response when they showed the crowd at game time.
Meh, if he hit the deep throw none of y’all would be complaining. So it’s more like he just needs to hit it if he throws it.People say Milton is choosing that read. Not hard for coaches to say "whatever you do don't throw the deep ball for the next 5 passes." We shouldn't be allowing him to throw it deep that often.
I've asked several people who hate Alabama and Tennessee equally if our head to head should put us above Bama. Every single one says "you can't get blown out by USC." I think the committee will feel the same way, especially now that Hooker is out. Fair or not, that's how it's going to be.Bama in the Top 6 is ridiculous
Bama didn’t just lose to us, they lost to LSU who we beat the crap out of. We also just posted a shutout of Vandy who was coming off of wins against Kentucky and Florida.I've asked several people who hate Arkansas and Tennessee equally if our head to head should put us above Bama. Every single one says "you can't get blown out by USC." I think the committee will feel the same way, especially now that Hooker is out. Fair or not, that's how it's going to be.
I think we protected Milton tonight. I don't think this game was an accurate reflection of the offense under him. With Hooker and Jackson both out, we limited play-calling to minimize the potential of injury. Heupel doesn't want to go to a bowl game with Gaston Moore and Navy Shuler as his QBs.Eh with Milton I'm not liking our chances, he's just not there. And we won't get a bunch of easy 50 yard runs against any decent team.
You can argue all you want, but the majority of non Tennessee fans are going to say the single most important fact is we got blown out by USC and the 2nd most important is that our Heisman favorite is out.Bama didn’t just lose to us, they lost to LSU who we beat the crap out of. We also just posted a shutout of Vandy who was coming off of wins against Kentucky and Florida.
I need to watch this movie again! But think my kids wore out the 2nd copy I got them also.We Won, We Won !!!! I told you people that we would, I have unnamed inside sources ya know.View attachment 518579
We've seen enough of Milton to know what we've got. If coaches can take a month to game plan around his weaknesses, we should be ok. But acting like we're as good as we were with hooker and being confident about playing OSU or Clemson is nuts to me.I think we protected Milton tonight. I don't think this game was an accurate reflection of the offense under him. With Hooker and Jackson both out, we limited play-calling to minimize the potential of injury. Interesting that Heupel just directly called out the speculation about the “culture in the locker room” in his on field post-game interview.
