The DL has been exponentially better at limiting rushing yards…especially from the quarterback position. That’s the referenced IMPROVEMENT from the DL. It doesn’t have to be registered as sacks or hurries. Last season we made every non-statue Lamar Jackson.

I like this but in order to help the secondary, sacks/hurries/pressures matter a great deal. Spencer Rattler was so comfortable he could’ve taken a nap in the pocket and got to whatever spot he wanted to get to. But everyone just says fire WM and Banks. Where was the DL? They played a huge role in that entire failure.

Which brought me to the question of stats showing DL improvement.

Before anyone starts with their BS, I’m a big Garner fan. I don’t want him gone and this is meant purely for conversational purposes.

Last game of the regular season…why in the world would we hold anything back??? Probably will but I see no reason why we don’t unleash the full QB run scheme.

Technically, not the last game, still have a NY6 bowl to play for. Tough spot to be in for sure, and I'd hate to see Milton go down or the one making the decision. IDK even know who his back up is at this point? Who's 4th sting?

Defense is terrible and injured. Vandy QB will rush for 250 and throw for 200 more. Overthrow Joe still has accuracy issues, especially on the short stuff. Still throws it 150 mph. Passing game will struggle mightily and that's Vandy defense weakness.

Vandy wins going away 42-23.

Wales keeper made it impossible for the referee to not give him a red. He went studs up after a high ball and made contact with an Iran player. If you slide or make any movement with your studs up like that then you are asking for trouble if you make contact with an opposing player It’s a red anywhere on the field.

Sure they do, but removing the automatic first downs is a PRESSURE on the QB all on it’s own. Rattler was abnormally dialed in considering his recent history. We also didn’t pressure Stetson Bennett and big shock that’s our losses this season. But the subject was IMPROVEMENT, and there’s no doubt that’s occurred.

That’s true… forgot about them…. We were still only giving up 21 ppg before our horrible performance against SC…. We are going to kick candy’s azz.

OMG please stop using that line. Doesn’t matter what you did the games before. You look at a whole body of work. Only praying that it was a massive terrible coaching day and doesn’t happen again.
