I'd buy that argument for other teams jumping us, but not Bama. Bama is ranked too high. They lost to us, and they lost to LSU, another team we beat. Who exactly has Bama beat this year that they deserve their ranking? No one. It's football politics.

They lost those games really close, on the road, at night. If we suffer the USCe loss early in the year then things might be different

A 3-4 Mississippi State? FFS people, stop being conditioned to believe Bama "deserves" it. They've beat no one of consequence. They lost the two biggest games on their schedule. They shouldn't be ranked above us because of what they've done in previous years. It's BS, and some of you are more than happy to buy it.

Well, called the SC game this year multiple time as one to be scared of and was ridiculed, called Banks from game 1 and had cowards block me…don’t get it all right but a few things.

Players like Beamer regardless of what we think about him. He will recruit at a high level (top 15) and his players will play for him. He will do very well in the portal. We should get him on Xs and Os but he was better on that this year too.

I just know I’m willing to trade a little offensive production for a massive defensive jump. It’s just unbearable.

I'd be fine if we go back to scoring just 40ppg, like last year, as long as our defense was consistently a top25-35 or better unit. Having a top5 offense and a top30 defense means we're winning a whole bunch of games.

Last time we had a shot at a record this good, in 2001, Fulmer ended us up in the Citrus. I think we'd have to concede this is better on paper (but it was much more fun beating Michigan than a Little 5. It's a NY6 in Y2. I don't think Birmingham will give us Sugar or Orange.
