Til he doesn’t. Less controversial figures have fallen to scandal. I see him flying right because of his relatively clean living, but I remember him getting sued for not paying for services rendered in jewelry and automotive work before the prep school fiasco. He’s a minor incident blowing up waiting to happen. Mebbe age and this trial run at Jackson State has matured him.He will roll in **** and smell like roses.
Decision making is big question mark but Hooker hadn’t been killing it as a thrower…completion percentage notwithstanding. Lot of open receivers with a clear road to paydirt returning to the los recently.I like Joe but I think we can expect a step back from offensive production and efficiency. He’s going to miss more routine throws and I doubt his decision making is equal to HH’s
Hooker was great here but he held the ball forever esp the last several games. Not sure ive ever seen him throw it away.Decision making is big question mark but Hooker hadn’t been killing it as a thrower…completion percentage notwithstanding. Lot of open receivers with a clear road to paydirt returning to the los recently.
Byron did not make an excuse in that tweet...he literally did the opposite and accepted responsibility. That was accountability....not excuse making.Nah. The pass coverage calls and lack of blitzes with press man coverage was obvious. If he feels better saying that - fine. Whatever gets him through the day. I just want all of them including Tim Banks and Willie Martinez to get their business done Saturday.
No more excuses. That was all time bad and they had a huge incentive to play at their best in Columbia.
I think this is good although I’d say OL is definitely worse, WR slightly worse and I’d argue even with LBNext year with current commits and returning starters when comparing this years starters and depth:
DL: Better
LB: Better (freshmen not playing are better athletes and Jalen Smith is the truth)
DB: Better (some dead weight will portal soon)
OL: slightly worse (portal a good OT and it’s even)
QB: toss up likely worse (In Milton or Nico we Trust)
WR: Better (Squirrel is going to be better than Hyatt and Tillman barely played - Bru will be a monster)
RB: Better (Sampson and Wright plus a portal will be awesome)
This is before any transfers which I am sure we will take a LB, 2 DBs, WR, OT, and RB. That is my guess on what we look for.
I'm at the point I'm not sure even full-blown electroshock therapy is going to help. My anger is still swelling. Many of you all are beyond tazing, so let's try this

Off a 45+ ppg team, best offense in the land, that would be very reasonable haha.I like Joe but I think we can expect a step back from offensive production and efficiency. He’s going to miss more routine throws and I doubt his decision making is equal to HH’s
That is exactly what I am talking about...why in the hell did he not do that Saturday when that is exactly what he should have done? That is mind boggling stupid...it is inexcusable coordinating. What's crazy is midseason we were doing stunts and things I hadn't seen in years. Then all of a sudden, no more, just running right into the OL with no moves or anything to make them think. Don't get it.
