you already got it figured out apparently
Well, called the SC game this year multiple time as one to be scared of and was ridiculed, called Banks from game 1 and had cowards block me…don’t get it all right but a few things.

Players like Beamer regardless of what we think about him. He will recruit at a high level (top 15) and his players will play for him. He will do very well in the portal. We should get him on Xs and Os but he was better on that this year too.

This comes from someone who dislikes SC very much.

Sadly I think that's true...18-22 year olds in a "me, me, me" world. NIL, transfer portal, and social media has only made it worse. At best they'll invest 4 or 5 years into UT and fans have put in decades.

Yeah, this is one of the things I've been wondering. This is a possible explanation of what happened Saturday. I think it's also a possible explanation of why Texas A&M imploded, and Bama has looked pedestrian this year (by their standards).

They didn't play for him at Florida...or against Missouri (when they were still just a 2 loss team and ranked for the first time of the season). Didn't show up at all against Georgia either.

Beamer is a kiss ass hype man and in his 2 years there hasn't shown anything else. The win against us just keeps their terrible OC employed for another season probably and their defense is one of the worst in the country even with him recruiting so well.

The SC game definitely scared me the most on the back half of the schedule.

We've only won there twice since Fulmer was fired.

The game won’t be close next year. Vols big.

He whipped our behinds. Good point on the FL game. GA is just way more talented than them and Mizzou just beat them.

Nico and his $8mil should do wonders for team chemistry.

I think Saturday night's loss was less about what South Carolina did and more about what we didn't do. Defense has been on the verge of collapse every week if we're honest, Kentucky was the only SEC opponent that they really put it on.

Gators: 33 points & 594 total yards
Bama: 49 points & 569 total yards
Missouri: 24 points & 389 total yards
Pittsburgh: 27 points & 415 total yards
LSU: 13 points & 355 total yards (greatly benefited from getting them early in the season and early start time)

The fact we won all 5 of those is pretty amazing if we're honest with ourselves. South Carolina just happened to be the game where everything fell a part all at once slow offensive start and we weren't answering TDs with TDs so the hole just got too deep.

Can't put the genie back in the bottle, so we'll see how this all goes!

Ultimately, if what happened to Tennessee starts was caused by NIL and starts happening all over college football then people may begin to lose interest. Either that, or it will all become must-see TV because no one has any idea what's going to happen next...
