Just curious about your reason for that. Is Neyland just a pig with lipstick, is it location, or parking, or etc. The history and location is what keeps a new stadium out of the equation IMHO.

IF they do. Build an artificial island on the river. Include docking ramps for the Vol navy, extra wide gang ways from shore to the island. Maybe air taxis from parking to the island.

My Dad actually had to stay in the stadium as a dorm room in the 60s .. it leaked and he had a weird roommate lol..I just remembered seeing my advisor in a little cubby hole over there, I can’t imagine lol

The plan is to get this side of the stadium to resemble the north side and gate 21. I think this current renovation is just to get the internals more updated. The plaza and facade will probably come later.

I think these renovations are more external. Maybe some south concourse and restroom updates.

Now, restroom upgrades are a must.

I don't know how much they will get done this time. The time frame is to be completed by 2026 so they have a lot of time.

Yes, it’s down there. Essentially that whole portion of campus is built on a cave/sinkhole system. Presidential court is on top of another area similar.
