I’d like to ask everyone that would to pray for my stepdad, my dad passed when I was 9 months old so he’s been my dad my entire life. They have found a mass on or around his bladder. We are waiting for an appointment in Vanderbilt so they can get a biopsy done. It’s so hard to have any peace in this life anymore. TIA
And KY with Levis lost to both.SECN with an interesting stat:
Tied for most 60+ point games in SEC history (2019 LSU and some older team)
Just put up 60 vs USCjr or Vandy and we have another SEC record.
Fwiw USCjr and Vandy are the 2 worst scoring defenses in league play and Vandy is far and away the worst defense...not close. We got this.
That attitude is coming to our conference. The whole everything is bigger and better in Texas attitude.View attachment 514218

I was the poster you were responding to, and I'm literally saying that when I said "sucks" it was too harsh and wrong. But "sucks" is also subjective.I never said it was “great”. I was responding to the bogus claim that a poster said the history “sucked” which certainly isn’t true when we break everything down
This defensive staff has done an amazing job…. I’m so happy with how they are performing… it makes me laugh seeing all these fans trying to fire everybody.Through 10 games, Vols are giving up 21.9 ppg. I’m told constantly SEC is the toughest conference in the country. So keep that in mind.
I’ve seen many want a new DC. So let’s take a look at some popular names/defensive HC:
- Zach Arnett (Miss St DC) giving up 26.1
- Barry Odom (Ark) giving up 28.9 (second to last in SEC)
- Oklahoma defensive masterminds giving up 29.1
- Baylor defensive masterminds giving up 25.2
- does the ACC even count? Clemson giving up 21.0 ppg
- Utah - always tough - giving up 20.0
- Oregon giving up 27.4
- Mich St defensive masterminds 25.5
For those wanting a new DC, who do you want?
For reference, the SEC:
UGA 11.9
Bama 18.9
UK 20.0
LSU 21.0
Vols 21.9
We’ll see how they realign the conference scheduling after Texas and Oklahoma join…Every Vol fan will tell you different but I prefer a more competitive Auburn, as they play Georgia and Alabama every year, just like UT. Tennessee doesn’t play Auburn every year, and they’re always going to be a threat on the recruiting trail, dysfunctional or not.
The silver lining is that it’s a kick in the nuts to Ole Miss and their fans are taught another lesson to know their place in the college football landscape.
Spoiled by our high-scoring offense? We didn't start with the ball for one. We scored on our first drive. Our second drive was turnover on downs near field goal range. On those first 2 drives, Hooker was 5/8, which is good for 62.5%. Not bad at all. And he also had a 17-yard run mixed in there. The only criticism I have is taking a sack on 4th down. We did score on our 3rd possession; it just happened to carry over into the 2nd quarter (by 29 seconds). Many QBs can get in a rhythm throughout the course of a game. I don't think it's accurate to say he starts slow though. It's more like he finishes well above average.Lol and? Doesn’t mean he does not start slow…. Which he does almost every game. Until later in the game he was holding the ball too long again like he did against Georgia.
Yup apparently my son has the new flu strain running 105-106 degree temps at intervals if he isn’t taking Motrin. It’s crazy. Nothing the docs can do other than tamaflu (he had his flu vaccine)
This is based off of history, but it's not far fetched to believe he will be improved his third year being coach by Heupel. He will have a firm grasped of the offense and an understanding of what to do. I understand being skeptical until he shows what he can do
First, please don't ever put the word "the" in front of OSU again, even if grammar calls for it. Just on principle. We win out......
TCU loses we are in.
Now if, these are all ifs mind you but hear me out.
If TCU wins out and the OSU - Michigan game is real close that is a problem because the sports writes and people in the East Coast and West Coast DO NOT WANT 2 SEC teams in again so the loser could be in or a one loss PAC 10 USC.
We are by far the best team according to our body of work but.......one never knows what goes on behind closed doors.
If the OSU-Mich game is lopsided then we get in no matter what TCU does and if USC wins out it will be USC-UT-TCU GA in that order.
Now if TCU loses and the OSU -Mich game is real close then the final four will be Michigan -UT -OSU- Georga in that order.
I have spoken with people in the know and that is how it could play out. I can not divulge my sources but they are HIGH up......or just....well never mind.
