It doesn't seem like it would be easy, and I guess would depend on how much you trust your center (and the other players on offense to only move when the ball is snapped), but I've seen it suggested that the center should snap the ball immediately when they initiate that shift...it might give the OL a split second jump start on their assignments while the DL are finishing their movement. Seems like a decent idea in theory.UGA has done that pre-snap shift for years. I can understand noise being a factor for the OL, but Elarbee should have had them ready for that shift. I think it was more the noise than the shift.
