Not saying it will happen or that I think it would but it’ll be interesting to see what the CFP committee does if LSU were to somehow beat UGA in the SEC CG. I know… we beat them head-to-head at their place early in the season.

If LSU were to win… This may be the first time the winner of the SEC CG is not an absolute given for the CFP. How will the committee treat the winner of conference CG of the most glorified conference in CFB? By not choosing LSU they’ll essentially tell the CFB world once and for all that CGs don’t mean a thing. I have trouble convincing myself that they would do that.
Dusty and Danny just talking about this exact scenario, and said in no way would LSU get in over UT. IF, and they emphasized IF, the committee took into account conference titles, it would be possible, but this committee looks at entire resume, and 1 loss UT hammered 2 loss LSU at home.

Part of our run game lacking is our lack of talent in the RB room. Jabari was exposed and looked like a G5 athlete out there. He’s just not a SEC RB to me. Not big enough to be a consistent threat between the tackles and not nearly fast enough to get you yards on the outside.
Yeah I’ve been asking for Sampson and Wroght for a while. Those two can get big gains at any time. We need game changers there.

If Sampson could block worth a darn he’d be playing more. They want to keep Hooker upright as much as possible, thus Sampson benched.

FTR - I’d love Sampson to figure out blocking and be able to see the field more. Definitely gives us another dimension/speed back there for sure.

They couldn’t or didn’t want to pay him. Also he has some injury history. Philly has a QB still on a rookie deal. Cap hits for Tannehill, Henry, Landry go way up next year, I think.

This is what happened to Hill and Adams, too. They went the Vikings route after trading Diggs to Buffalo and drafting Jefferson, just probably won’t work out that way for them.

Tyreek Hill has been open about that too. Said the Chiefs wouldn’t pay him and then he chose Miami because they could plus no state tax. I think he’s pretty happy to play with future Hall of Famer Tua though since he’s leading the league in receiving by almost 300 yards 👀😬

Didn’t he get hurt against georgia…. He only had three Carries….. I figured that’s why Sampson was playing.

They have two more years after this one to get it done…. After that Tua will no longer be on his rookie contract.

Hooker sits at 71% 2533 passing yards 21 TDs 2 INTs with 355 rushing yards and 4 TDs, I think he'll need to eclipse 30 TDs for the season to remain in the Heisman race.

Jaylen Wright has clearly eclipsed Jabari Small at RB in every way possible except pass protection. But at this point I'd rather see one of the TEs used for the extra pass protection and use the RBs more for screens. I think 12 receptions for the RBs after 9 games is far too low. Gibbs for Bama has 39 and his backup McClellan has 11.

Defense has improved all season, I'm sure Georgia changed their game plan to try and eat up clock more once they had the lead but regardless if you look at the field position they got from the offense they had a good enough to win game. Gave up 3 or 4 big plays and only 1 was for a TD. Didn't generate enough pressure or turnovers, but again Georgia went heavy on protection and conservative with play calling once they got up.

Ultimately for me OL was the biggest letdown. 6 sacks, less than 3 YPC for the game, 9 penalties and most were on the OL. But Missouri has a stout defense as well, if we sleepwalk they'll give us an ugly game and their best shot.

Need to sell out Neyland and create a great atmosphere like for Alabama & Kentucky and show the team that no one has given up on them.

Tennessee had absolutely no answer for this blitz package. And it’s the one Georgia continued to call in the 2nd half. This was what Hooker was dealing with all game

I was laughing yesterday at some posters saying they played man to man and shut us down. No they didn’t, they sat with two high safeties all game and made sure we didn’t hit anything long. They dared us to hit short throws and run the ball. We didn’t make them pay with screens and draws. Just not a good offensive game plan. Reminded me of the TB KC super bowl. Bowles sat two high and KC wasn’t patient. Good thing is next game day in the playoff, we know how they will play us and it will be a neutral field.

Underneath routes were open all night and we never exploited it to bring that extra safety up, and open the deep pass. Was def frustrating to watch.
But hey, I've never won a game from my couch, so what the hell do I know?!?

Was infuriating to watch. We kept drawing up long developing routes with our poor blocking and their blitzing. Didn’t use the middle of the field at all

I feel bad for Mizzou, SC, and Vandy. This team is going to be pissed and want the playoff rematch bad. We’re gonna score 50+ on each of them.

For all my conspiracy peeps: if Sankey wants two teams in the playoffs, us and Georgia are the best bets and we had to lose that game for us both to make it…

Well for some of you younger folks that don't remember the 90s when we were an elite program.

The negative is we always get the best shot from our opponents. Stetson Bennett has his 4th highest rating game against us. Bryce Young throws for over 400 (only time of the season). Jayden had 300 yards on 71.1%, one of his higher passing yards game of the season we did manage to keep him from beating us with his legs though. Anthony Richardson only game of his career where he goes for over 275 yards passing and 4 total TDs (most of his career in a single game as well).

Last year we got the best Will Levis had as well. So we can't sleepwalk any opponent, because our brand is a season making win for 95% of the country.

Amen brother. I like being an arm chair coach lol

Honestly the worst thing that could happen to us did before the Georgia game...and our fanbase, former players, and sports media all fed right into it.

Georgia is packed full of talent and when they play motivated they can (and typically do) beat anyone they face. So right before our trip to Athens what happens? CFP rankings spit in their face, All the media pick them to lose at home, our fans/VFLs start a social media buzz blasting their fans for not showing up or being a hostile environment to play in...

It was without question the toughest place we've played this season, so props to Georgia fans for making that place crazy.

Titans Offense is awful. Outdated. Only the titans, in a qb-wr offensive driven league, would stick with an offense from the 50s. Trash QBs trash WRs. I fell asleep twice when they were on offense last night.

Lol the ole Jeff fisher days..nothing but field goals and end up losing by 3 😂😂 also you can blame the front office for giving a big premature contract to average/washed up qb in Tannehill off a fluke year
