This needs to be plastered all over VolNation.

The Legion of the Miserable has already forgotten the fact that it was awful with all 4 of these pretenders. Only one of them is coaching a P5 team and is looking to betray them. We needed to suffer through the Purgatory of the 4 Horsemen of the Volpocalypse before we were rewarded with our current AD and the current Coaches (in all sports actually).

8-1 is not settling. 8-1 is phenomenal, especially when you consider where we were just 2 short years ago. 8-1 isn’t the end of our season. It’s an exclamation point for the team and fans to rally around. It’s a jumping point for all the VOLS that should focus our resolve and challenge our determination to succeed in the remainder of this season. A championship is still attainable.

We need some outside help to make the playoffs. The odds are actually pretty good that we will get the help we need to get there.

Patience of the fans is key. Continued support is also key. The last home game of the season needs to be as loud as the florida, bama or kentucky games. These players need to know that we have their backs. They deserve our best.

C’mon VolNation time to rally, repeat after me.

Hit a parlay on last night’s game and turned $4 into $100. So that helped a little with the sting of the loss.

Don’t understand how Downing keeps his job. Second half offense has been non-existent all year. Abandoning Henry in the second half last night is enough to get him canned in my book.

We mainly just need TCU to lose a game to all but guarantee we’re in and us taking care of business the rest of the way. UGA, OSU/Mich winner, UT, Oregon (if they win out).

Before bama lost to LSU, we wanted ole miss to win (🤬🤢🤮)

Since bama lost to LSU, it makes our strength of schedule look better if bama absolutely destroys ole miss. Plus the added bonus of auburn would drop kiffin like a hot coal is ole miss gets roasted by bama. Never believed that I would say that now we really want and need bama to win out. (🤮🤢🤬)

They couldn’t or didn’t want to pay him. Also he has some injury history. Philly has a QB still on a rookie deal. Cap hits for Tannehill, Henry, Landry go way up next year, I think.

This is what happened to Hill and Adams, too. They went the Vikings route after trading Diggs to Buffalo and drafting Jefferson, just probably won’t work out that way for them.

I watched Joe Klatts preview of the game last week. He listed the numbers and how it’s almost impossible to win on the road in CFB with a team close to evenly talented. I didn’t want to believe him, but it’s true. 13-1 now let’s get it. 5 out of 8 playoff champions have had 1 loss. One game at a time lets win this thing.

Not saying it will happen or that I think it would but it’ll be interesting to see what the CFP committee does if LSU were to somehow beat UGA in the SEC CG. I know… we beat them head-to-head at their place early in the season.

If LSU were to win… This may be the first time the winner of the SEC CG is not an absolute given for the CFP. How will the committee treat the winner of conference CG of the most glorified conference in CFB? By not choosing LSU they’ll essentially tell the CFB world once and for all that CGs don’t mean a thing. I have trouble convincing myself that they would do that.

This is where the breaks are made. We do need some outside help. The chances are pretty good that we get the breaks that we need. We need the winner of osu/michigan to win big, not close. We need TCU to lose just one game. We need oregan and usc to lose one game. Actually, we may only need one of these to happen, but I prefer at least two and hopefully all 3.

If our team and fans embrace The Maxims against our 3 remaining regular season opponents, then we will get in the playoffs with a break or two. We as fans need to be louder at the missouri game than at florida, bama, or kentucky. The fans in attendance need to absolutely bring all the passion, pain and suffering of the last 15 years and express it vocally so that the nation does not forget about the VolNation. We are a force to be reckoned with. Let the Earth tremble at our roar.

For game prep, I challenge all of you to lock away your lingering bvs and throw away the key. If you have no bvs to conquer, then find a LotM member and convert them to become a VFL! If you can’t convert them then dig a hole and bury them with a copperhead 😳.

Yeah….. you have such a small window to win a championship when you over pay for a receiver like teams are doing now.

Are we sure he didn’t get told to scat with the McDonald’s Express bunch? Maybe not, though, because the Vols this year didn’t seem too pleased with him, so that’s probably not it

We had great teams, dominating many times, won it all once, but sometimes we actually lost games, just like everyone does. Bama has lost twice this year: they would give anything to be in our shoes right now. GA was embarrased by 17 last year and went back for more. Sack up, bruh. Fear is not realism, and trashing our board is not cool. Just take it one game at a time. That's how we play them.

As bad as Willis was, the receiving corps may have been worse. How a bunch of professionals fail to actually run routes or attempt to get open … bottles the mine. No way that’s the best the Titans can do in the throw game.
