Nothing has changed from what the expectations should be. We got humbled today by a really good football team. I would rather have an off game and lose to the defending NC than stumble against KY or Mizzou.

Now we get to see how getting punched in the mouth affects this team. Do they get back to work and come hungry next week? I think they will and I still see 11-1 with playoff talk in our future.

Tough loss but credit to UGA and their home crowd. They brought the binness today.

I made a mistake tonight. Should’ve gone to my daughters last soccer game of the season instead of catching the 1st half of Vols v UGA. God gives us decisions and we’re generally epic failures. They came home after the game and she was distraught with heavy tears after the Vols lost. Sleeping in our bed with a Vols hat on tonight… didn’t know she liked the Vols this much but the bond between father and daughter can be so strong…

Need Notre Dame to pull this upset off. Clemson (if they win), Michigan (if they win), Ohio State, & Georgia will all 4 be ahead of us. Don't think TCU will jump us either.

So 4th or 5th in new rankings. I don't think Alabama jumps us unless we lose again or they win the SEC Title game...but if Bama ends up winning big though they might jump us.

I hope so, but im not sure how we stay ahead of undefeated teams. Bama and LSU sure. but Michigan, TCU, Clemsuck should stay ahead as long as theyre undefeated.

Maybe not TCU but the rest yes. TCU did win today, they are still undefeated, but the committee on Tuesday specifically mentioned them having to come behind multiple games as a reason they were 7th. Guess what? They won by coming from behind again. That will bite them at some point.

Someone mentioned stealing Scott Cochran from Saban was gonna be huge for Kirby. I think this season showed that, Bama is kinds soft now. Georgia isnt.

Nah, overreaction. This team is still a top 4 team. Had a off night. Tennessee would be favored playing Clemson, Michigan or TCU.

27-13 on the road to the reigning champions is not a bad loss on paper. How it happened isn't helpful, but if we do our jobs and smoke our last 3 opponents and Georgia beats Bama then we are 11-1 with a 27-13 loss on the road to the #1 team.

I want a rematch on a neutral field. We're the hunters again.

OK last three opponents is what we have to do. We cannot have a let down game! We need to regroup, refocus, and go out and win big the next three games. Let the committee know that we just had an off game in a hospital environment. Hats off to Georgia… Kirby had a fantastic defensive game plan that they executed very well.

Half of being a College Coach is recruiting and he certainly is a top notch fella in that area. Good defensive coach too. Overall he’s very good. I just hope Tennessee can jumpstart recruiting like that or at least be top 10 consistently. We’re in the SEC and we’re going to need the dudes

None of those teams has the athletes to play Tennessee man. I’m off for the night. The sun will come up in the morning. Tuesday will reveal it’s all ok.

There is no blueprint for talent. There isn't another defense in college football that could do what they did tonight. Also we had a ton of penalties because of home field

Something I’ve noticed is how important first down is for Tennessee. Seems like if we have a positive play on first down we have a very good fluid drive… if we have a negative first down play then the offense sputters and is harder to find rhythm
