I’m so pissed. We got whooped all game long, Heupel got straight up out coached. They came ready to play and we didn’t. Props to the defense, they kept it respectable. I paid way too much money for that.

To be honest, I was fully prepared to lose. We had a massive target on our back against the most talented defense in all of football. The thing is I was not expecting to be completely out of the game from the moment we went up 3-0. It felt like the game was over before halftime.

That being said…. Georgia SHOULD do what that did to us on paper. No seriously, look at our roster and then look at theirs. Minus Hooker (who had an off game) and the WR room, what position does Tennessee have that’s better and deeper than them? Literally none, they have multiple 5 stars coming off the bench.

Beating Alabama with this roster was incredible, but we NEED 3 consecutive top 5 recruiting classes to be at that level consistently, there is just no way around it.

I made a mistake tonight. Should’ve gone to my daughters last soccer game of the season instead of catching the 1st half of Vols v UGA. God gives us decisions and we’re generally epic failures. They came home after the game and she was distraught with heavy tears after the Vols lost. Sleeping in our bed with a Vols hat on tonight… didn’t know she liked the Vols this much but the bond between father and daughter can be so strong…

Just like when they win. CH tells them to enjoy it but come Monday you move on to the next. That's what they got to do with this loss. How they come out with an attitude next week.

The way I see it they just need to lose to UGA in the SEC title.

We probably need Bama to win out and lose in the title game, plus Clemson, TCU losing.

The one thing that is obvious is we can not get penalties, Go back and look at about 75% of our drives that are stopped are by penalties . That can be fixed and we will be playing in the playoffs or in a great bowl......in year 2. Think about that for a second.......we are a team that nobody wants to play at the end of the year......big difference from the past few years.
