Agreed. I just don’t understand what they think they can implement that hasn’t already been explored. The only safe course of action is fences like you mentioned, but who the heck wants that? The only really fair option is retroactive punishments towards the Athletic Department… but that’s already what’s happening with the fines. Any other punishment that goes towards fans as a whole, or the players/team in question isn't the right move. So what else are they going to do besides what they are already doing? 🤷🏻‍♂️
Just tightening the noose. Started with the fines. I'm sure they'll move to reduced SEC Network payouts next. If they could they'd probably enforce some recruiting sanctions or postseason punishments. I just don't think they have the authority for that yet.

(Yet being keyword- bc if NCAA folds as the football governing body then guess who is in charge?)

I’ve wanted a rematch vs Clemson for 20 years now. My grandpa gave me, my dad and uncle so much **** for that Peach Bowl every year for the rest of his life.
One more of the reasons I was not a Phil guy...those stupid Peach Bowl losses to mediocre garbage teams because the team didn't give a crap.

Was rewatching end of Pitt game. On last play, announcer said “Tennessee believes they are competing to get to Atlanta for an SEC championship - they believe they are that good.“ I didn’t think much of it then, but in retrospect it tells me the coaches were confident all along. Cool to see.

@Enki_Amenra 👀👀 this could be good or bad but imma roll with the good! Not really sure how to take it…but with it being +100 and Georgia being the favorite we will either cover and win or lose by more than 14.5 because they’re giving extra free points which is concerning….don’t mind me though I’ll be hammering the ML….especially if those other teams win…I could see Texas maybe losing or Georgia

Anybody thinking about storming the field better do it. Saban's complaints did not go unheard. Sankey has already expressed his displeasure to ADs and is moving to force schools to revise policy to prevent incidents involving on-field access. Bama's AD is on the working committee; DW is not.

Sankey's solution mirrors Saban's-- don't hold angry players accountable for hitting fans; force schools to overhaul their security protocols and game management plans to prevent happy students from getting in the players' way. UT is, unsurprisingly, the poster program for this. I'm sure fan-instigated trash throwing will be written into the new protocols, as well.

It's hard not to despise Saban and Alabama.
Does anybody here still not believe that Bama runs the SEC...Sankey is nothing but a stooge puppet.
