Anybody thinking about storming the field better do it. Saban's complaints did not go unheard. Sankey has already expressed his displeasure to ADs and is moving to force schools to revise policy to prevent incidents involving on-field access. Bama's AD is on the working committee; DW is not.

Sankey's solution mirrors Saban's-- don't hold angry players accountable for hitting fans; force schools to overhaul their security protocols and game management plans to prevent happy students from getting in the players' way. UT is, unsurprisingly, the poster program for this. I'm sure fan-instigated trash throwing will be written into the new protocols, as well.

It's hard not to despise Saban and Alabama.

I mean, this is what college football is all about. Are they coming after tailgating next?

How do we get the SEC office out of Birmingham?

This is on Saban. He whined to the conference and manufactured a laughable scenario about his players being scared that fooled no one... and now Sankey feels forced to do something under the guise of player safety.

Watch out for the Briles kid at Arkansas if Kiffin gets the Auburn job. Briles as their OC just might put Saban in a retirement home
