Are we? We are being selective….. They quit recruiting Trejuan Webb bc they didn’t feel he is good enough… TJ searcy reached out to us and king nico stated there were other guys that we preferred better.

We’re being out recruited by Fl who sucks. We haven’t gotten anyone since the season started for the ‘23 class. We were just pushed out of the top 10.

I’m sure we’ll close strong but we aren’t seeing the kind of momentum for this class I thought we would after this start. Again, can’t even get some of our top targets to visit. Ga may be about to flip the RB commit for AU, we can’t even get him to answer the phone.

I mean, I like the ‘23 class, but it can be a lot better and so far we have no momentum since the start of the season in ‘23 recruiting

If you read it, I think it is just this morning's story packaged by espn as breaking.

Yes. Having trouble at present with top targets such as Carter, Dowdell, can’t get Tate or Rogers to visit, literally nothing is happening in the ‘23 class.

That doesn’t mean the class isn’t good or that we won’t close strong, but I thought being 7-0 would have more affect on the current class and it isn’t.

It’s a lot different recruiting (NIL) landscape than what we’re use to now. It’s not just wins and a path to the NFL that get them to the bargaining table. What can you do for me now?.

It looks good. But the audio always seems off. Maybe it's just me but there seems to be a consistent lag in TNF audio.

They have 18 four stars and 4 three stars.that 1 point higher average isn’t insignificant.

but again, I haven’t criticized our class. I love our class. I just thought we’d have more momentum down the stretch after our start and we just don’t.

You have to look at it a different way. Look at UF, let’s be honest they are not good. They are what the 4th best team in the East? They have a new head coach and staff. But look at us. Undefeated, ranked top 3 and we are still being out recruited by UF. Now you can say that UF has an advantage over us because of the state but that’s iffy at best. One would think that seeing us beat Bama and destroy a good LSU team that we would be seeing a pretty good influx of high rated players. But so far it’s not happening.

Hopefully we can jump them by NSD but as of right now they are ahead of us and it’s strange.

I'm in the camp that says the kids that are in it only for the money, and we know what programs and players (for the most part) currently fit that category, aren't the kids we want and don't fit the culture this staff is building.

How's that working out? Meanwhile, Heupel is taking Pruitt leftovers and some transfers to the cusp of the playoffs. In year 2.

I'm willing to see how it plays out.

I think and hope as we keep winning will help with fan support and some muscle moves in on the big boosters.

I'm reading about some of the "Big Time " recruits choosing other schools over us............You don't always get the best but you always need the right ones no matter how many stars that fit what you want to do.
