Report doesn't have any statement except from Simpson. He approached the officers when they arrive, he stated the girlfriend and "unknown male" were trying to help him to his feet when he woke up. Officers later found her in her car in the parking lot (doesn't mention taking a statement or her giving any details other than confirming she was the girlfriend of the suspect). She called JM and he returned his hand was bandaged up and he was read his rights but didn't answer any questions.

Nothing in the report mentions Simpson had alcohol on him when he approached the officers either.

Right, exactly what I was saying. When it first came out I thought she had based off what I read, now I see that wasn’t the case, which alters my original view of the incident. I thought the “victims” story was corroborated. It wasn’t.

At this point after all the reading of the official documents.

1. He was in their apartment without permission
2. He got punched in the mouth (and lost at least one tooth)
3. There was blood on some steps
4. JM hurt his hand

Those are the only consistent details from all parties.

We had an intramural basketball team in the late 80's called Sympathetic Limp. We were, um, not very good at basketball.

Could have just as easily fallen down at the bottom of the stairs too, still that's speculative without a witness confirming it. All we know is he was at the bottom of the stairs and even that's an assumption I'm making without having seen the actual statement/reports myself and going based on what's shared here.

Drunk people do tend to be accident prone hopefully this will get wound up on the KPD end of things.. legal wheels also tend to turn very slowly.. lawyers gotta make their dollars lol
