This is a real simple comparison –
The Josh Heupel Tennessee RUSHING OFFENSE has scored 23 TDs thru 7 games; Kentucky’s offense has scored 6 rushing TDs in 7 games.
The Josh Heupel Tennessee PASSING OFFENSE has scored 23 TDs thru 7 games; Kentucky’s offense has scored 15 passing TDs in 7 games.
Josh Heupel's Tennessee’s RUSHING OFFENSE has scored more TDs (23) on the year than all TDs scored by Kentucky’s offense including both rushing and passing (21).
Josh Heupel's Tennessee’s PASSING OFFENSE has scored more TDs (23) on the year than all TDs scored by Kentucky’s offense including both rushing and passing (21).
I mean really, I’m not sure anyone could ask for a better example of what is meant by “he can beat you with one hand tied behind his back.”![]()
I've had my crow, being epically wrong about Pruitt, the head coach; but, I'd take him in a heartbeat as a DC...as Saban will, the exact moment he has the chance. He was good at Bama, Georgia, and FSU. He's a fantastic DC. But the peter principle applies here. Not all great coordinators make good head coaches. We're seeing that with Venables right now.
The one way is if UK is extremely successful on 3rd downs and can extend drives. Win the all-important TOP battle...make long drives...keep our offense off the field...stay ahead of the chains...play with great eye discipline...I just don't see how this game is close.

I think Hendon's season and impact is comparable to RG3 in a lot of ways. RG3 still holds the highest passer rating at 192.31. He ended up with 3998 yds, 36tds passing and 650yds 9 tds rushing.Yup, so many variables besides just the stats.
I mean, besides TDs, they are very close in numbers between Stroud and HH. Then you look at the other things like completion played, how far into cupcake games they play, what you mentioned about tackled at the 1 yard line, etc. I even saw a stat either last weekend or during the Bama game that at that time 22 out of the 28 TDs scored from in the red zone we’re running plays. Shoot, a lot of those running TDs started from those same players being tackled at the 1.

Hendon is at 190.8 rating currently. On pace for 3600 regular season yards, 31 tds passing, 540 yds, 5 tds rushing.
Just curious what Levis’ passer rating is at the moment?? Sorry if this has been posted somewhere.I think Hendon's season and impact is comparable to RG3 in a lot of ways. RG3 still holds the highest passer rating at 192.31. He ended up with 3998 yds, 36tds passing and 650yds 9 tds rushing.

Very nice. Happy Birthday! Yes, here's to a wonderful weekend...My birthday today. Going out having some seafood and bourbon tonight with homemade cheesecake for dessert later. Have tomorrow and Friday off, picking my daughter up from school early on Friday and heading to Knoxville to watch Kentucky get whooped on Saturday night. Going to be a great weekend.
Thamel is a Schiano supporting turd but there's an interesting tidbit here between him and Rece Davis (who thinks that UK has no chance on Saturday btw):
Apparently a bunch of coaches when asked anonymously think the Vols can/will beat UGA.
