Good morning Vol Nation!

I had my 60th birthday yesterday. Earlier this year, when my wife asked me what I wanted for my birthday, I told her I wasn’t sure. Mainly because all I really wanted was to see a dominant Tennessee football team, and I knew that it was going to happen.

So here we are celebrating life, and our Volunteers!

Got to play golf yesterday with three good friends. They are all Aggies. They are truly happy that we are winning. When the Aggies first join the SEC, I gave them a tutorial on every member team at the time. They have realized that my tutorial was very factually-based rather than from a Dislike of the other teams… Currently, they are so beat down that they don’t even want to talk about the Aggies in football. I know a lot of y’all think that the Aggies are a cult, but that’s the way we are perceived as well. As a whole, their fan base is the closest to ours.

It was a good day!

It’s going to continue to improve as this Saturday will expose kentucky as they are decimated by our Volunteers.

Happy Birthday, Doc!

And that's with Day keeping Stroud in late during blowouts to pad his stats. Anybody who is objective knows that Hooker has outplayed Stroud so far this season...especially when you consider the competition.

Just from a numbers perspective, this looked like fun to dive into. Unfortunately it’ll take more detailed work than what I’m willing to put in bc the info isn’t readily available.

So, do we know he always stays in? He stayed in vs Iowa. Has he done that all season? Looks like their backup QB has 18 pass attempts. Joe Milton has 22.

Tried to find half by half stats but can’t. Only ones I could find were Stroud vs MSU where he threw 6 TDs in the game (4 in the 1st half), but only attempted six 2nd half pass attempts.

A more determined researcher is welcome…

My birthday today. Going out having some seafood and bourbon tonight with homemade cheesecake for dessert later. Have tomorrow and Friday off, picking my daughter up from school early on Friday and heading to Knoxville to watch Kentucky get whooped on Saturday night. Going to be a great weekend.

Do you think it ever crossed the minds of Kentucky fans that Nick Saban and his roster of All Americans couldn’t figure out how to stop Tennessee from putting up 52 points on Alabama but magically, Stoops and his roster of mid achievers can shut the Tennessee offense down?

Stoops the 3-star millionaire gonna scheme em up

Take 5 blizzard. GOAT blizzard.

Edit:
For those that don't know, the Take 5 bar has Reese's peanut butter, pretzles, peanuts, and caramel. It's got all the goodness of Reese's with sooooo much more.

It’s been so long since I’ve had a blizzard, I didn’t even know the take 5 option existed. That sounds amazing.

This is a real simple comparison –

The Josh Heupel Tennessee RUSHING OFFENSE has scored 23 TDs thru 7 games; Kentucky’s offense has scored 6 rushing TDs in 7 games.

The Josh Heupel Tennessee PASSING OFFENSE has scored 23 TDs thru 7 games; Kentucky’s offense has scored 15 passing TDs in 7 games.

Josh Heupel's Tennessee’s RUSHING OFFENSE has scored more TDs (23) on the year than all TDs scored by Kentucky’s offense including both rushing and passing (21).

Josh Heupel's Tennessee’s PASSING OFFENSE has scored more TDs (23) on the year than all TDs scored by Kentucky’s offense including both rushing and passing (21).

I mean really, I’m not sure anyone could ask for a better example of what is meant by “he can beat you with one hand tied behind his back.” 👀

If they get into 4th and short situations it wouldn’t surprise me if they go for it on 4th a good bit. I don’t know if I see Stoops going straight up Napier and going for it early and often even from his own side of the field though. Kentucky is 18th in the nation at going for it and succeeding on 4th down, so not bad at all in that respect. 9 conversions on 13 attempts. UT is 56th allowing 9 conversions out of 19 attempts. 6 of those attempts were against UF where they converted 5 times though. So outside of that game UT is allowing 4 out of 13 which would put UT at 10th in the nation in 4th down defense. I can see UK adopting a not quite as ballsy as Napier approach to this game and 4th downs. Will need to get some stops when they do.
They're gonna go for it on 4th down a bunch----they have nothing to lose and we better be ready for all of their trick plays anywhere on the field

They’re definitely going to go for it on 4th, but are they going to go Napier crazy and go for it at their own 30 yard line in the 1st Q like UF did? That I don’t see Stoops doing. Anything midfield or better and within say 4-5 yards or less though I bet they do.

I just don't see how this game is close.
