It was actually ridiculous. UT had to try and track down all available footage from staff, media and fans to identify the throwers and ban them from the stadium, in addition to coming up with a formal plan to prevent future incidents. The amount of busywork and meaningless paperwork was supremely unappreciated by UT admin, especially the Chancellor (and I'm sure the interns).
So how many Ole Miss upper deck section individuals were identified? 😁

Dark mode is nasty.

What did he say? I don’t remember him calling anyone out…. He usually doesn’t give us hardly any info.

No one in specific - just the secondary. Maybe call out isn't the right expression but it seems like he's been talking about the need for improvement in our secondary pretty much from the beginning of the season.

This is from last month:

Brent Hubbs question: Coach, for the last couple of weeks, when asked about your secondary, you’ve mentioned a couple different times tightening up their coverage. Is that them not playing with confidence? Is that them not understanding? Why is the secondary not playing as tight in coverage as you would like?

Heupel: It’s just being a little bit better in fundamentals, technique, having their eyes in the right place, and understanding situational football. It’s things they can and WILL (emphasis mine) do here as we continue to move forward.

I'm going to bring up something that I haven't seen discussed, but will be major for this program. With the much anticipated return of the NCAA football video game happening next year, there couldn't be better timing for this meteoric rise of VOL football. With us having the best offense in college football and now having all the different uniform combinations, kid's all over the country will be playing as the VOLS. I don't know if people understand just how monumental that is for recruiting and overall relevance moving forward.

Something I just heard while listening to Josh Pates Week 8 reaction show…

TCU has knocked out 4 different QBs out of their 7 games. Hell, against Kansas State, they knocked Martinez out of the game and the backup QB starts playing well and then he gets knocked out of the game. KSU ends up losing with the third string QB.

Fraud alert? That’s a lot of luck.

You know who loves Dark Mode the most?

The Dark Knight

I would be proud if Coach Heupel wore his Batman costume this Saturday night.

Hear me out.... if dark mode wasn't intimidating enough, you let Heup run through the T wearing this and Kentucky might as well forfeit the dang game. We might score 100 points and not even mean to. The historical significance of a coach dressed as Batman, leading a team of TN Volunteers in dark mode unis, has the potential to eclipse the Alabama game.

Pleeeeease Danny, make this happen

*not really serious but maybe Rodney Garner can wear a Bane mask

We scored 45 on UK last year. Our offense is better. Their defense is worse. We scored over 40 against Bama and LSU (on the road). We know Levis will turn it over at least twice. I would be shocked if we score less than 40 and I would be equally shocked if UK scored more than 40 (since they haven’t all season).
