pretty sick

huge for Nashville

Looks like a very comfortable atmosphere. Like a place I would go watch a football game when I don’t care about the teams playing, just there for a cool experience

This will move the Music City Bowl up a notch, with however they restructure the bowls to accommodate the playoff expansion. Nashville will definitely get a Super Bowl now, possibly/probably Pro Bowl/All-Star stuff too.

There will be bigger neutral site "kickoff weekend" games here too now.

He doesn't represent us any more than the tree-killer actually represents Bama. The only people that try to claim that he represents us are opposing fans and any other person with an ax to grind.

(1) They'd find something else if it wasn't Andy. That's what ax grinding looks like.
(2) Forget them. They don't matter.

I am in awe that a bunch of grown people get lit up and agitated because of the actions of an underdeveloped stranger. I'm in even deeper awe that they give him massive attention by bemoaning the attention he gets.
I mean I agree. I haven't said anything about the situation in a long time. I do wish people would stop posting his videos and posts here. That baffles me.

"Look at his dumb***. Geez, I hate he gets any attention at all! Just look at him! Why can't he just fade away? Just look at that!"

You’re probably right. UT-Martin joined Memphis as instate schools that Tennessee will never schedule again for the foreseeable future. Not good to burn bridges.

I really prefer that we use our FCS slot to play an instate school each year. ETSU and UTC can rotate and get UT’s dollars every year.
ETSU, UTC, APSU, MTSU, TTU can all get paychecks. And I'll allow WKU and UNA.

As stated by many, this winning season will help much more for 24 & 25 classes. We already have 21 commitments in this class and they’re likely going hard in the portal for at least 5-6 guys this off-season. Plus we always end up signing a few guys out of nowhere.
I agree that this season helps more with the future classes, I just thought it would turn the heads of some in this class, too. And I really like the class we currently have, but there are still some positions of need. Mostly another OT and some DL. And, from what I understand, the staff is looking at adding another RB, LB, and DB, and if the right one comes along, WR.

Sometimes, I think people mistake an attempted conversation about recruiting to be complaining. That's why I keep stressing I like the class we currently have. I just think we need more trench players.

The only thing that worries me about the portal is not knowing who will be out there. It's just hoping to get difference makers at the positions we need. Not to mention it seems to be even more of a bidding war than just outright recruiting.

One more thought on the subject, I don't think this staff looks at talent alone. I think they care more about personality and fit more than they do if a player is a 5* talent. The don't want any culture busters. And I think that's a good thing.

Overall I like it. I don't like all those pipes/beams, or whatever they are, all across the top of it. I'm sure it's necessary infrastructure for it to be safe, but it's not aesthetically pleasing at all.
Pretty sure those are trusses necessary for the structural integrity of the roof.

First there was the Summer of the Vols, and I don't think anyone would argue that we are in the Autumn of the Vols, now we wait for the Winter of the Vols. The mighty season of recruiting glory.

Pretty much guarantees a Super Bowl, Final Four, CFP after expansion, potentially CFP final.

Kentucky or Kensucky like Ron Slay likes to call them here on the radio in Nashville. They aren’t cool whatsoever. Hell trying to copy our checkerboard endzones at that. Their offense is boring. Their defense is overrated and they beat up on cupcakes to reach 7-8 wins a season. Basically the Iowa of the SEC. buck is a moron. Nothing is ā€œhipā€ or ā€œcoolā€ about kensucky.
Buck like those $s Kentucky throws his way.
