McGill, that’s why we’re gonna win out AND the SECCG so they won’t have a reason to screw us over..

What I am saying is they won't let us win. I hope I am wrong, but I think we start getting the screw job against Kentucky and especially UGA. They want us to be good, but they do NOT want us in the SEC championship or Playoffs.

I hope it is just paranoia, but yesterday's events triggered it.

I hope I am wrong. This team really deserves a fair shake.

Look, the issue here is not so much the content of your posts, it’s that you feel the need to post them,

I think we all agree that, BY FAR, our defense (really just the secondary) needs the most work on his team. But we’re 7-0. SEVEN AND OH. We’ve got wins over Florida, LSU in BR, and Alabama. In Heupel’s second year. We’re in the thick of the playoff talk, and you’re out here bemoaning the fact that other least talented kids on our roster are allowing 14 points and a couple hundred yards in garbage time.

Yes, we allow our opponents to put up gaudy passing numbers and lots of points. Know what? It. Doesn’t. Matter. How did Alabama’s 49 points help them out? They still walked away with a loss.

Enjoy this season. Revel in the fact that we’re handing out touchdowns to our players like Oprah does cars. Will our secondary deficiencies matter against anybody left on our schedule not named Georgia? I do it think so. Will they matter against Georgia. That’s a definite possibility. Will we still beat them? We beat Alabama.

The world is quick to give you plenty of reasons to be miserable. Don’t go looking for others on your own.

I’m not miserable nor am I uneducated like a lot of posters here want to label me. I understand, get out with a win, with no injuries, let younger kids play, let walk-ons play, etc.

Why did we not have more sacks than 1 while starters were in? And why not sub in backups with starters, instead of just throwing all backup in at one time? On the flip side, why not allow the offense to run like normal when the backups were in? Yeah they were on the field but not really to play and get better, but to just run the clock and get through the game. That doesn’t make them better.

I’m happy with this team and stoked to be 7-0. I was only trying to point out a few, what I believe to be flaws, that needed to be worked on, if we are in fact going to make a run for the championship.

So...did it not kind of shock anybody else that Sampson got caught from behind yesterday? I thought "he gone!"....but nope he got caught by a freaking Skyhawk....after all we have heard about how unbelievably fast he is...

Did he slip? Did he just think he had it made when he got through to open grass and not really turn on the afterburner?

Anyways...I would like to offer that kid (Baker was his name I think) a schollie...pretty sure Heupel could put that kind of speed to good use..lol

Said it before... but the Schiano incident seriously triggered Herbie. UT fans were all over his comments, and living in Tennessee, he still hears about it. He carries a grudge and he can't resist getting his digs in where he can. It'll be no treat having Herbie and Fowler in Knoxville next Saturday night. I'll be shocked if they don't talk up UK, Levis and Stoops.

I actually think you can attack the UK secondary pretty good. They haven’t played a single dynamic offense other than maybe Ole Miss who is very run heavy. I’m pretty much at the point where it doesn’t matter who we play they are gonna have problems with our receivers. Just like Henry T, Jacquez Jones the LB from UK can get torched in the pass game.

They have not played anything approaching our offense this season. Also, their offense is borderline anemic. They only teams they have scored on are the OOC cupcakes they played and even then they only scored over 35 points once. That was in the first game of the year vs Miami OH and their feared iron curtain of a defense. Given that, I think UK will probably score 24-28 points on us. However, they will not be able to stop our offensive muscle car and we will score 45+ on them. The game might start our close, but we will step on the gas and leave them in our exhaust before halftime.

He may not be, but you can definitely see him slow down to keep his blocking in front of him. Which I'm not sure why... but he wasn't running full speed when he got caught.

I can’t tell what happened from the video…. It all depends on what the evidence shows…. If he shoved her with no injury then that is a different then if he punched her or if he punched her and caused serious injury….. the same with McCullough, and Beasley’s incident…. I don’t have any real opinion until all the evidence is out there. I really just want to talk about the football being played. If the police decides to charge him then I am good with that.

South Carolina should be 7-3 possibly 8-2 when Tennessee goes over to Columbia to face them. Which should be a ranked matchup and another opportunity for a ranked win

SCAR will probably be top 15-20 when the Vols play them which will be even sweeter when we win by 3 touchdowns in “the best environment in football.”

They play Florida the week before us. They will lose that game. They won’t be Top 20.

Bc we choose to play very vanilla while the starters are in there…. It is really that simple.
