It is not really "rushing the field"...it is a tradition that call "Meeting at the Paw"...they all come out on the field and meet at the big Tiger Paw painted in the center and sing the Clemson Alma Mater....they do it every home game is what I have heard.

If that's true, Clemson could never afford to be in the SEC.

I think it is a mixture of two things...they KNOW coming in that our guys are slaw in the backend..AND that they have to make every play count to have a chance to win.

I know our secondary is depleted, but for just once could an opposing QB in a big game have one of those days when they can't hit the broadside of a barn, and opposing revievers drop catchable balls over and over instead of making their best-hardest catches of the year against us over and over?

That is getting ridiculous at this point.

As long as the Vols are ahead by at least 1 point when the 4th quarter clock reads 00:00, then I don’t care how they get there…

Look, the issue here is not so much the content of your posts, it’s that you feel the need to post them,

I think we all agree that, BY FAR, our defense (really just the secondary) needs the most work on his team. But we’re 7-0. SEVEN AND OH. We’ve got wins over Florida, LSU in BR, and Alabama. In Heupel’s second year. We’re in the thick of the playoff talk, and you’re out here bemoaning the fact that other least talented kids on our roster are allowing 14 points and a couple hundred yards in garbage time.

Yes, we allow our opponents to put up gaudy passing numbers and lots of points. Know what? It. Doesn’t. Matter. How did Alabama’s 49 points help them out? They still walked away with a loss.

Enjoy this season. Revel in the fact that we’re handing out touchdowns to our players like Oprah does cars. Will our secondary deficiencies matter against anybody left on our schedule not named Georgia? I do it think so. Will they matter against Georgia. That’s a definite possibility. Will we still beat them? We beat Alabama.

The world is quick to give you plenty of reasons to be miserable. Don’t go looking for others on your own.
