I wonder if this Deion to GT thing really does have legs. I see a lot of CFB media people that I trust talking about it like it's a serious discussion.

The media always does this. Find the easiest, low hanging fruit and run with it. Next thing you know every single outlet is pushing the same agenda. It’s already happening here. I love Prime and while it seems like a good fit I don’t know if it actually is. That’s a school that will tell him No when it comes to a few things. That’s just how that institution is.

I think LSU is way too good for that to happen but it would be nice indeed.
Their defense is pretty nice. But so was UK's last year and look what happened.

All about matchup. And I have no idea, nor the expertise to know how that looks. But if HH is on in both modes, Small brings it again, and Tillman is healthy, I don't see why not.

Wild and crazy thought I know...and nothing to do with Tillman, but maybe more about how HH and Heupel approach the games...

But our offense looked better than ever. Has our
assumed reliance on Tillman limited the offense a bit? HH seems to fall on him almost too much and we saw a more wide open offense this week and it simply was better overall.

Hopefully we have gained more trust in Hyatt, Bru, Keyton, Calloway, the TEs, etc.

For those lamenting missing out on the “experience of Tiger Stadium at night,” I would suggest that the full experience happens when LSU wins, so you may want to look into tickets there sometime when Tennessee isn’t playing. I’ve sat in Atlanta amongst their fans for a Tennessee loss at night, and let me tell you, it is no fun.

You have intimate knowledge of how he spends his money? Him making good money for lots of years does not guarantee that he currently has plenty of money.
Why yes, of course I do. 🙄

It's not anyone's job to manage his finances. If he doesn't have enough money to retire comfortably after decades in the broadcast industry and as the voice of the vols, that's his fault. No one should be retained simply because they don't know how to manage their money. He's had plenty of time to establish a good retirement plan and it's time for that to happen.

One thing I'll point out, we've been very cautious about using Hooker this year in the running game so far.

3 games and he has 3 attempts for 22 yards (2 TDs though). Last year he finished with 166 attempts for 616 rushing yards (which was 1st on the team in attempts). He also ran for 9 attempts against Pitt in his first real action, then followed that up with another 9 carries against TTU.

We'll see more of his legs now that we're into the SEC schedule. Teams haven't been able to get pressure or cover receivers well enough to force him to use his legs. Wouldn't surprise me if he has a big game running against Florida if they try to get cute with their pass coverage.

Boy did I call that one for the Florida game!

I'd love for him to have an unworldly game against LSU going for 250 passing AND rushing!

I've not liked them for a long time. . . lose and have the rest of the day screwed. Don't even want to watch another game after a loss.

Beating LSU early would make all the other games 1,000X better.
Still remember when we got boatraced vs UF in 2019 at noon.

Literally stood up, pissed...told my wife I was going to the movies. We walked over, saw a comedy, and my whole day was better.

All about context. I'm no longer letting losses ruin my whole weekend. But a win....and I'm partying all night.
