what if clk just really loves throwing pecan log's into traffic and does it on every recruits visit?
I just messaged Lacey Pearl Earps on facebook and she said that she doesnt know what he is going to do. I feel a divorce coming soon. lol
Funny, I talked to her for a while today. She seemed really cool and was pretty darn funny. I sensed a quiet confidence when she talked about Bryce's decision. Only time will tell.
Butler's role has been minimized by BB's dad. Take Butler out, and basically, you have a stud athlete left who will make a difference on whatever team is fortunate enough to get him.
It's been posted already, by me and others, but BB didn't have a good relationship with his HS coach, needed help with the decision, and sought help from Butler. Butler was a logical choice since he had helped Arthur Jr. However, Butler had not made the complete mockery of himself with Arthur Jr., so Arthur Sr. trusted him with BB. After it got out of control, BB's dad came back to the plate. And, that's where we are today.
The Brown family will make this decision, not Butler.
Let's hope it's for the Vols. The Butler stronghold on BB is already over.
this is what i am hearing in wichita...well said.
Lol - I wonder how many people have message the poor girl ever since her facebook page was linked on this website (and I'm sure other VN ones) to find out any info on BB.
Dickey brought us running through the T. Battle brought us huge posters with a blindfold on our head coach hanging from UT buildings. Majors brought us bumper stickers about making Major mistakes. Fulmer brought us more opportunity to use Photoshop with donuts more often than anyone could have ever imagined.
CLK may bring us the pecan log roll tradition on the Gatlinburg Lane Train Express.
I'm surprised we haven't seen any Photoshop work on this one yet.
I just heard that Lsu has a few of its old players in town from the NFL to talk to Bryce Brown not sure if this is true but it was from a buisness owner who I talk with who lives in Baton Rouge. He told me that Joseph Addai was in town from the Colts and is going to be on campus working out this weekend. Also Charles Scott the Big RB, Rueben Randle and Shepard will be his co-host. Hopefully we do not wake up Monday morning and hear that Bryce Brown has schedule a press conference. I still think there a 60 percent chance he goes to Maimi.
I think UTMBA made some stellar points in his previous post that the Brown / Butler relationship may have somewhat soured of late, and wonder if the trip to Miami is Arthur Sr.'s way of trying to repair whatever damage he might have caused between them. Arthur Sr. has been vocal from the outset that he respects Coach Shannon, and wants Bryce to attend Miami. Further, he even sort of defended him with his latest comments, saying that he didn't blame him, and that this (Bryce's recruitment) had turned into more than anyone had imagined.
To me, it's a pretty strong statement that he's driving him down to Miami from Wichita, seemingly, with his hat somewhat in his hand. If that is the reason for the visit, I don't care what has happened or has been said, Miami will welcome him with open arms if he wants to sign this weekend, or thereafter, and all that has happened along the way will be quickly forgiven and long forgotten.
I actually don't intend this to sound as a slight toward LSU - because if Miami and USC are truly "out", they would become the next biggest player who could sign him - but has anyone considered that they may only be visiting Baton Rouge because it's along the way to Miami? If I were driving from Wichita to Miami, I wouldn't mind stopping in Baton Rouge to be wined and dined for a couple of days before heading on - and if I am LSU, I welcome the #1 recruit in the country to do so. Again, not to slight LSU or devalue the meaning of the visit, but I wonder if they get a visit this weekend had their campus been west of Wichita, rather than on the way to Miami.
Just a quick thought.

Since Miami begins spring practice today, let's start in Coral Gables. In regards to this story about the possibility of Bryce Brown not visiting Miami, let's get something clear: Miami is no longer interested in Brown. It's over, done. A source at Miami has confirmed this for me, which is why it's no surprise LSU is suddenly in the picture for that last visit.
Isn't it a violation to have pro players meet with recruits? I could be wrong on that...
Anyway, I didn't see this posted here. New development: http://www.nytimes.com/2009/02/27/sports/ncaafootball/27recruit.html?_r=2&ref=ncaafootball
