My point is the extra curricular has 0 bearing on the actual game. Who cares if we wear alternates, gameday etc. The outcome of the game isn’t going to be any different.

Been listening to each and every Vol podcast on YT this week (talkin vawls, the VQ podcast, an Eric Cain podcast, etc)...

Didn't realize how skeptical many still are. Maybe it was the kneejerk reaction to the sloppy Pitt performance. Or maybe legit concerns.

Guess we won't know until the UF-LSU stretch, because Pitt was a one-off vs a really weird defense (one of the podcasts mentioned how Cade said (this year, now as an NFL guy) how Pitt's defense doesn't "play within the rules of engagement" as-in they're totally random and not logically based on how they rush and attack you).

I'd say it's like how many pro poker players say they feel more confident playing opponents that understand poker and "play logically". A pro will actually have a harder time reading a complete amateur, because they don't play logically. It's possible Pitt plays randomly or uses Game Theory to randomize their attacks. That or Narpoopuzi is a donk 😅

Some media channel where millions watch a yankee review pizza joints every week (from what I've gathered) 😅

But also (iirc) where Coach Duggs came out of.

If I had to venture an estimated review from what I've seen of them, it's online sports broadcasting for the millenial generation and pizza bros...not that serious, semi comical, etc...

I'm surprised they aren't more excited by our bad performance on offense and our D winning the game for us. I mean, we all know what our offense is capable of. I'm excited knowing our D can get things done (@Glitch ). Teams better watch out when our offense and defense is humming.

Oh no not a myth at all...from someone who's trudge thru the mountains from this spot to that spot I can 1000% confirm this.I fully did not believe it either until one nite bout 1am walking back up a path few drinking buddies smelled like a shoney salad bar lmao..We all took off come up over this log and there's a handful laying there.It was dark we hauled ass but I've caught it 4 or 5 times in my life...

They have come back to that. But I'm not sure "exicted" is the word. They ARE glad we found a way to win an ugly game and get that we "earned" the backup, but we still beat them at less than full strength and it was still a struggle.

West Virginia also looked like crap last week, so they are really questioning how good Pitt even was. Josh Pate said he has Pitt ranked in the mid-high 30s, for example.

Idk, but all of them feel grateful for the win. Just still have a lot of questions. I don't think that's unreasonable at all, either. Jmo but if we lose in OT, many opinions would be 180 degrees different rn. Maybe the truth is somewhere in the middle, until further notice.

I keep coming back to this - it's really early and we have plenty of time to progress. We have plenty of veterans that should take to coaching and excel, not fold.
