Just started BJJ. Been fun so far, just lots of conditioning and not know positions/submissions. Anyone have any experience here; best conditioning and maybe YouTube channel or anything. Thanks

Yeah I'm a purple belt.

There's tons of good YT channels. Like, take your pick. The only advice I would give you there is not to fall in the trap of finding wild low percentage techniques on YT and only trying those. Stick to the basics. Chew Jitsu is a friend of a friend and I really like his channel.

As far as conditioning... Swimming really helped me get ready for competitions. But the best way is just to roll more rounds.

I used to train with chewy for the short period of time I trained jiu jitsu. Great dude. Also a complete animal on the mats

For the record, Twitter is VERY pessimistic about the EA CFB game. They think it will literally just be Madden with a CFB skin over the top.. which honestly isn’t probably far off from the truth.

Honestly always assumed that would be the case. Never expected anything else, because it's so simple and Madden is a proven game with decades of success. It would almosy be silly to start from a new graphics engine (at least) and even gameplay engine.

When the time comes to have the chance to play with UT...pretty sure every person will be buying it. I know I will. Been waiting and Nico will be a 99

Yeah I have the #1 class every year. It’s not fun like that. But also idk how they could make it more “realistic” bc you’d have to spend even more time on it if dudes went elsewhere.

I love the idea of the portal being in the game tho. Just not sure how to fix recruiting.

Actually even gameplay is too easy. I take over any program, no matter how bad they were before, and nearly always go undefeated.

They should make it like NBA2K career mode where you have to ask questions.

So, say there's a 5* you want, you have to answer his questions and depending on your answers (and his personality) your chance of getting them goes up or down. That's one way at least.

But imo they should also make it so you have to earn your namesake so recruiting becomes easier.

I saw some of the coaching candidates thrown out there for the Nebraska job by the media types and was stunned that it was almost identical to the one they put out for EVERY team that needs a coach. Nothing is new only recycled and put in a new box for sports writers.....they are always so right, ya know.

SIAP….it’s usually because the same agents feed the same names to the same reporters for EVERY coaching search.

Seems like we try a gpod rotation of ACC, Pac12, and Big12 opponents but I can't remember the last regular season series with a Big10 team. I guess we play them often enough in bowls that we don't like to schedule them?

But off the top of my head we've booked H&H with OU twice recently, Pitt, Oregon, Washington, BYU (IND). We've had neutral site games with VT, WVU, NC State, GT. Then we mix in some strong G5 teams like BGSU, Cincy, App State.

But notable lack of Big 10
