I'm not sold on Georgia just yet. I mean they bashed Oregon, but that was another team that was overrated going into this season who had a first time HC with an inexperienced QB starting.

Really not sure if Georgia will get a real challenge until they face us unless South Carolina and/or Florida give them good games.

Byron Young or Tyler Baron will knock little manlet Stetson out of the game like they did with Slovis.

If some version of MUT is in the game, the game will be ****.

They can say it won't be re-skinned Madden all they want. Every Madden for the last decade has been a re-skinned version of the game before it, so yeah, I don't believe them.

Honestly disappointed 2K didn't pursue the NCAA licensing at all.
Competition of any kind for the NCAA game(s) would have been welcomed.

I haven't played Madden in years, but the videos that I've seen of gameplay look terrible. They have players playing online against each other that will run laps around the field because some players have unlimited stamina and some others don't. Not to mention that they made a select few of the QBs a mix of 2004 Madden Vick and 2006 Madden Peyton.

Not sold on them like not sure if they’re the best team in the country?

The crazy thing is, you look at the game, the numbers, our recent history, the state of the program, etc., etc., and you can recognize, intellectually, that was a pretty good result for us.

But when you watch the game, you know, intuitively, that we didn’t play well. Not even close to our potential.

And you know, that’s promising.
That is pretty on the money. That was a good team...and we easily could have hung 50 on them.

I am sorry but all this Mark Stoops love drives me crazy.

Chatta if you're out there or anyone who has time take a look at Stoops' wins. If my memory is correct no one has built a reputation on wins over nobodies than him.
I'll give him credit for his wins over Florida but many of his 61 wins are not impressive at all.

All this talk about surpassing Bear is quite misleading in my opinion..

Wasn’t it announced that the CFB game would be built on the same engine as Madden? If so, get ready for that same terrible gameplay on CFB 😂

Yeah. Not sold on Georgia being the #1 team in the country. Obviously as the season progresses it'll be made more clear, but Georgia facing an overrated Oregon team has been it...and Florida beat a higher ranked Utah team that thumped Oregon twice last year and we see how they played in their first SEC game.

Georgia is one of the best teams in the country, just don't think they've done anything (this year) to prove they are THE best. And I'm actually not even sure we can't beat them. I'd still mark it down as a L, but in pencil at this point.

So more of a "prove you're THE best team" at this point for me on Georgia.

The good news is that the EA team responsible for NCAA hired a bunch of the modders that kept the updated rosters/sounds/sliders/jerseys community going for the past decade. So they have true fans putting their best into this game.

I've been playing CFB Revamped, they did a good job year over year with that. EA hired some of the people that helped with Revamped, so we'll see.

Madden is getting a ton of negative feedback about their loopholes and horrible gameplay. Hopefully Madden and the NCAA team fix a lot of that before the releases next year.

but yeah I'm not playing this game: (NSFW Language)

That's really good news. The CFB Revamped mod is excellent.

UK is just the flavor of the week for beating a “national championship contender with the sure thing Heisman winner”. It’s fine, it’ll go away once UK lose. But for now the CFB media is just going to keep force feeding it like this:

Won 10 games 2x in the last 5 seasons. Before that, the last time they won 10 was 1977. So he’s gonna get a lot of love. He’s made UK a team you can’t just chalk up a W on the schedule.

Also it’s great for UT. Hype up Stoops and then Vols win and we look even better.

Random VQ nuggets over the law few weeks:

- Milton will be back on this team. He views himself as the guy for next year.
- AP also views Milton as the starter for next year.
- Jacob Warren expects to be back next year.
- AP thinks Bru will be here for two years (so also back for next year).
- Flowers is likely to continue returning punts.
- Juwan Mitchell will be back for Akron (has hinted that it was a suspension stemming from last year).
- Tayven Jackson did not travel to Pitt for unknown reasons Gaston Moore was the 3rd string QB.
- Dee Willams is likely the punt returner if healthy. He has a shoulder injury.

Other random notes:
- Jimmy Calloway (2 snaps) and Ramel Keyton (8 snaps) were the only other receivers outside the starters to receive snaps last week.
It’s a perfect set up. Let Nico learn Heupel’s system for a year. Milton plays well and we have QBs drafted in back to back years

And they have beaten Florida and a weaker Florids helps UT! We just have to beat them too and UK and we will firmly be number two in the east.

Modding is one thing, but the engine is what controls these glitches and gameplay. I mean, maybe they can work some of it out and do more QA testing but a lot of the glitches and everything else are already existing in the engine which is the base of the CFB game. Either way, I won’t really care as i still find enjoyment in Madden even with some these issues so I’ll play it regardless but I just think that would be a huge undertaking to try and build out what they need for the game AND fix the issues existing in the engine.

Back when I was in high school I was a top 200 player in ranked online. I loved that ****. Haven't bought it in years. They turned it into a souless cash grab, and even had the audacity to put John Madden on the cover of that garbage game this year.

For the record, Twitter is VERY pessimistic about the EA CFB game. They think it will literally just be Madden with a CFB skin over the top.. which honestly isn’t probably far off from the truth.
