What has Wisconsin and Iowa done?
Since Nebraska fired Bo...

Iowa is 63-25 (42-19 in conf.)
Wisconsin is 65-23 (43-16)

They take big boys from Big Ten country and have developed lesser talent into great players. They are usually fundamentally sound teams with great OLs, good defenses (especially Iowa), and occasionally have a great QB or RB that take them over the top.

They are also teams with less prestige in Nebraska's division that have done well. They have shown how to recruit and develop in that same division while Nebraska chases a ghost.

I don't think the Iowa or Wisconsin blueprint will bring championships home, and it's certainly not recommended for SEC, but it's a goal worth setting and meeting. Then you can worry about winning the conference and making the playoff once you've bolstered your roster and built up the culture.

Anyone else wondering if/when the Florida realists will show up?

In every year prior, a few of the same folks reliably roll through a week or two before the Florida game to remind us how silly our hope is. And they have been quite more than right considering the scoreboard since 2017...2016.

Iirc it is usually @bignewt with a "don't do this to yourselves", maybe @nicksjuzunk with a good ole "Oh No Baby What Is You Doin?", and a couple others.

Or is everyone on board with unfettered optimism against Florida this year?

In all truth, astronaut boy is ignorant to speak of a fact independent of hypothesis, as if he saw the sun itself in itself with his eye. Also arrogant.

Someone must have rung up NASA and said we need a flattering story for people with bright pictures to top the news because the new inflation figures are out.

I am just enjoying the ride.

I’m sorry, are you saying you know more about what space looks like than…..an actual astronaut?

Even more, *he* is arrogant?

Bingo^

We already had knowledge of this. One reason he didn't get the start last year was because he wasn't sharp in practice, and he wasn't sharp because he put a lot of pressure on himself. When he lost the job he had some closure and resolved to just having fun (also because Golesh watched him own everyone on a basketball court and saw how much fun he was having and told him to play football like that).

So when he got the job he was loose and was focused on having fun.

Big season. Big offseason hype. Fringe Heisman candidate in preseason. High expectations around the program. Who wants to bet he's looking rusty because he's anxious again? 1 loss should cure that.

Let him play basketball instead of losing a game… 😇

He is arrogant. I guess he did flatter you. It's a special combo. I know that any claim about how the sun looks without stipulating conditions shows that he doesn't understand what science is. Yes. Is the world scientific community in an uproar at the wholly novel news today? Mathematical physics does not allow that what the human eye sees under circumstances x,y, and z is "the" sun.
