Velus muffed one in a critical situation last season but it was an outlier and his potential to bust one at any time made the remote risk worth it. Flowers is a fair catch waiting to happen and thusly should be automatic. When Flowers muffed the punt, wife said here we go, Tennessee gonna blow it again. I said Nah, this team is better than that. She said what’d you want to bet. I don’t have to make the bed for the rest of the season. Huge personal victory for me.
I think they will gradually get him more and more passes.I believe he was only targeted 4 times and had 4 receptions. Hooker needs to work on the connection with him against Akron. Having a safety blanket like Tillman is a luxury for a QB, but you will throw interceptions if you continue to target a receiver 18 times a game compared to 4 on the other side.
Anyone got any suggestions on somewhere between Nashville and Knoxville I could stay Friday before the Florida game? Decent town with stuff to do. Wife wants to stay in Nashville to shop and drink. I wanna get closer but don’t know much about the in between area.
Boone is not for everyone. I grew up not far from Boone and I hate it.Pretty funny because Boone is 10x the town College Station is. Probably more modern than that weirdo backwards school too
Boone...Sugar Mountain...Blowing Rock area is great. Quite a bit of $$$ and nice homes too. Then Boone itself more like a hippy small mountain college town. Really fun area in general.
The ignorance shown by thinking that area is a bunch of ignorant hillbillies is, well, amazing irony. Only from TAMU...
I'd just drive on in and stay in Townsend for a day.Anyone got any suggestions on somewhere between Nashville and Knoxville I could stay Friday before the Florida game? Decent town with stuff to do. Wife wants to stay in Nashville to shop and drink. I wanna get closer but don’t know much about the in between area.
Somebody was feeling some pressure from somewhere. No doubt about it.The timing of the Scott Frost firing is so bizarre. You are not going to hire anyone right now, and you are cutting him a check for $375,000 every day between now and October 1st, when his buyout would have dropped in half.
I don’t do business very well, but that just doesn’t seem like good business
They didn't score a TD was my point, which was shocking to me regardless of the reason.Well...we didn't go a half without scoring...but yes I can see how any offense can sputter for a half because of drops, fumbles, ints, missed throws, missed blocks and penalties.
We sputtered and then scored on them twice in one series in OT....easily..lol.
Speaking of which...it was shocking how the offense just seemed to flip a switch or something in overtime. Heup/Golesh saw something Pitt was doing and adjusted with the designed QB runs.
