I’ve listened to all the UT stuff and I saw it on YouTube. Just listened to the first few mins when he was going over the UT game

Well, maybe if he cries harder they’ll change the result or something for him.

Really though, he could be. Our WR room is no joke. Hooker gets straightened out a little and our OLine gets a bit better, we'll be a huge problem for any defense. . . if our RBs get going. . . only way we'll be stopped is if we stop ourselves.

We gotta get HH calmed down. He’s a little juiced right now. Last year about this time he had just taken over and he calmed down a few games in. Hoping he hits his stride against UF

Pitt had 141 rushing yards for 3.6 ypc and 1 TD (76 came on one play)

So you eliminate the 2 explosive plays and that takes out 133 total yards and 2 TDs. That's the difference in 415 total yards and 27 points VS 282 total yards and 13 points.

I know it's maybe not fair...but I would say absolutely yes if he had made those two he dropped, maybe even if he had just converted the one TD..but he didn't. I will change my mind when he has one of "those" games...if you know what I mean.

Our offense only got better through the season. It’ll be the same this year except more ahead of schedule.

To think if he doesn't drop a couple passes and Hooker doesn't miss him once he easily breaks the Vol receiving record.

He's got a real chance to get that Bikitnikoff.

Solich was a very good coach. He was solid at Ohio after leaving Nebraska. Ohio played very well during the Solich years and he mentored many young solid coaches.

Pelini too. Supposedly an a-hole, but they won 9-10 games a year under his tenure.

Not really a "supposedly" based on the audiotapes from the guy. But he did win games for them.

20-25 years ago, Nebraska was ahead of the curve with sports nutrition and off-season training. What made those teams so dominant is how impressive they were in the trenches on the OL and DL. They bullied every opponent and enforced its will. Combine that with high IQ athletic QBs (Frazier, Frost) that could perfect the triple option.

The option run well and with all that beef..was a thing of beauty.

I think our starters should be able to beat them straight up by working on things we did the first two games. Hopefully we can get the backups in and they can work on some of the things that we did in week 2 so they can be trusted more to play against Florida.

Something I would love to know from a former player or coach is the whole "keeping it vanilla" idea. It seems like it would behoove you to take your chances and shots wherever you could find them no matter the game.

that holds zero bearing. its still florida.

For a night game time slot...from the media's perspective, it definitely holds bearing whether we want to believe it or not. Would've been two undefeated (4-0) bitter rivals with history and both being ranked inside the Top 15.
Would have had to been a big enough reason to have it as a night game two years in a row. Still a big game but they absolutely would have made that prime time if we were both undefeated.
