The timing of the Scott Frost firing is so bizarre. You are not going to hire anyone right now, and you are cutting him a check for $375,000 every day between now and October 1st, when his buyout would have dropped in half.

I don’t do business very well, but that just doesn’t seem like good business

Larry the Cable Guy must have chipped in a few mil.

So as of now...which squad was the most overrated based on those first preseason AP rankings?

#5 Notre Dame
#6 Texas A&M
#7 Utah
#10 Baylor

Tejas A&M most overrated out of the lot in my opinon

ND is always overrated!

I think Utah is better than what they played in the swamp but they were ranked too high to start with.

Baylor, probably finishes right around that ranking once they get into league play

One thing stoops and staff did is put the blueprint out on how to stop Anthony Richardson. They basically had Jordan Wright spy/shadow him esp in all the obvious pass situations but really the majority of the time. That’s how he got the pick 6. Dude was just right in front of AR and he never saw him somehow. But it completely shut down the whole offense. Now that game film is out there for the whole league to look at.
Richardson can not pass at all. Thru 2 games he has 0 TDs. We just can not let him beat us with his legs. If he throws for 300+ and 3TDs you just tip your cap and say good game. We need to stop him from running wild.

Incorrect, he threw a beautiful TD pass to one of Kentucky's DBs.

Yeah he’s not someone this staff inherited though
They own them all now. They inherited Hooker and Tillman along with those you think can't play.

The coaches can be wrong. I think respectful criticism of coaches and players is in bounds and part of the costs of being at a high profile, strong fan base program. That said, the coaches had every opportunity starting in spring to replace McCullough and Flowers. They have bodies and guys who can play safety like Charles and Walker. They chose to believe in McCullough and Flowers... almost exclusively based on the lack of subs in the Pitt game.

The performance vs Pitt was greatly improved. I think it is correct in saying the D played closer to their ability than the O. But I still have more questions about the DC and his scheme/playcalling than the players who are trying to execute.
