I hate it for some of these coaches. He seemed like a good guy. Took a job to try and resurrect his Alma mater. An almost impossible job. Nebraska will never be Nebraska of old, imo. At least he's making bank.

Nebraska has nothing going for it. It’s in the middle of nowhere. I’ve driven through there before. Nothing for miles around. Not even a tree in some places. Just seas of grasslands. Kinda cool at first but after 30 minutes it gets old. 8-10 wins is the probably the ceiling for them and that’s would be a lucky year for them.

No injuries. We've been really good so far on the injury side. That's huge as the season grind comes.

UF plays an AWFUL USF team. They'll come in 3-1 with some uncertainty/wavering confidence.

Imo just come out and be our usual Q1 selves and we could take their heart away early.

I went to Oklahoma a couple years ago. . . if Nebraska is anything like that. . . no thanks.

Never been to Oklahoma, but from what I’ve heard it’s similar. They had gates on the interstate because when the roads get bad in the winter they literally just shut them down.

Looking to make that change myself soon. Working in sports information is an absolute meat grinder, looking forward to making more money to work 20+ less hours a week.

SID work is so engaging. I interned for that in college in the Gulf South Conference and those SID’s cover literally every sport at its respective school. At UT, they have an SID for each sport.

I hope we face more QB’s like Slovis that hold the ball too long. They won’t make it the whole game just like last night. I’d prefer guys like that vs QB’s that can run.

And their backup wasn’t a scrub or anything. He was a seasoned veteran, not some wide eyed freshman.

Hold on to the ball too long? Yes.

Still very accurate throwing under pressure and on-track for 600 yards of offense? No thanks.

Fwiw I think we were fast to the QB. Not sure he held too long most of the time. Our pass rush showed up imo.

Not that I seriously suspect UF will lose to awful Mizzou, Vandy, USC again...even LSU. They aren't THAT bad...unless they give up again.

Would kinda love for that to happen. But that would open up the possibility of Freeze getting back into the sec. Don’t want that at Kentucky, they may do more than beat Florida if that happens.

Stoops has been really good for UK. He’s a good coach. I want them to always be terrible

I think everyone is completely over valuing that job IMO. No way Stoops would entertain that job.

They hired Frost away from UCF. Gus would have a hearty laugh and hang up if they tried to hire him away from UCF in 2022. That program is in the turrlet with nothing going for it.
