I'm telling you. The flag was for intentional grounding. And then all the refs simultaneously had some sort of mass psychosis event and started speaking nonsense.Interesting Pravda is deleting the evidence of the safety. That was the best angle. Also you could see how incredibly late the ref decided to the throw the flag.
They try this all the time then give SEC teams higher ranked teams to play in the bowls, and we usually still win the most of them.He tried to say that after Bama and Georgia the rest of the conference wasn't that great. I mean, yeah, we have Vandy and Mizzou, but the rest of the teams are generally somewhat competitive. We would own the Big 12.
Yeah I'm thinking of Nebraska could trade 5 years of Scott frost for 5 years of stoops... They'd do it in a heartbeat.I think he will move on after this season. He has Kentucky at a peak that isn’t sustainable long term. He has done a good job. He would be smart to take the money and hit the reset button next year.
I like Jaylen Wright... think he has looked good so far, except for the fumbles, of course. He gets that under control, and he could have a big year. He averaged over 5 yards a carry today, and is averaging over 6 yards a carry so far on the season; but, can't keep giving him the ball, if he can't hold onto it.It struggled today, but that was against a very experienced DL. They definitely have to do better. Not sure what's up with Small. Wright's biggest problem seems to be holding on to the ball. They need to work the freshmen in.
Pitt is a good team. We’re not 3td better then them.Late to the party on this but here are my takeaways from today…
1. We should’ve beaten Pitt by 3+ touchdowns
2. The defensive front 7 came to play when it came to rushing the passer. We had 26 QB pressures which might be the most I’ve ever seen. Rush defense was also stout for the most part.
3. Aaron Beasley was a stud today.
4. Rush offense was almost non-existent today.
5. Hooker was off but made critical plays when it mattered.
6. Too many mistakes, including blocked punt and muffed punt.
7. Jeremy Banks needs to get on the jugs machine and work on his hands. He let two INT’s go through his hands today.
All in all a great win IMO. First win over a top 25 team on the road since Miami in 2003. We faced adversity from our own mistakes but still found a way to win. I think winning a close game when we made quite a few mistakes and it seemed like we tried to give them the game will only help them in the future.
