Official Gramps' Memorial Eternal OT Thread

As you watch this BS, remember that California Governor Gavin Newsom will end up being the Democratic presidential nominee in 2024. He’s done such a wonderful job destroying California that the liberals want to let him take a crack at the entire country.
Save the random outrage for a different thread.

That was accidental. I didn’t realize I was posting in the Gramps Memorial Offline thread when I made that post. It seems like a weird spot to have posted a link to that video/story.
Half of the posts in this thread are people being chastised for being political.

Alice in Chains Unplugged is some of the best music you'll ever hear.

Had a couple 3 days worth of posts to catch up with in this thread and this 1 is my favorite by far.

Best unplugged ever recorded IMO. "Nutshell" foretold Laynes self inflicted demise. " ..If I can't be my own...I'd feel better dead." He couldnt get clean and got tired of the endless struggle. Chris relapsed after a couple years sober ..and hung himself in a hotel bathroom after a sold out show to keep from putting himself and his family thru that Hell again.

Crazy that Chris Cornell and Layne Staley both came from Seattle at the same time in their respective awesome bands. Along with Maynard, they compose my 3 favorite front men in history.

On a different flavor altogether...Jason Isbell has quickly become a favorite for me.Not nearly the voice of the other 3 ...but he is truly a generational talent as a songwriter, and a good enough player to have a signature line of Fender guitars. "Overseas" "Cover me up" he wrote not Wallen, " Elephant" "Live Oak" there are so many . If he were handsome like the other 3 he would be a super star x10.

AIC, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, and Nirvana all coming out of Seattle around the same time. That's an insane amount of talent.

That performance from Layne on Unplugged was amazing and sad all at once. It was clear that he was diminishing physically but he could still put on a hell of a performance.
