While we are at it, lets create a Poll tax and make it outrageous to exercise the right to vote, or how about an outrageous tax for the internet or saying anything controversial? I mean if we are going to tax protected rights guaranteed by the constitution shouldn't we at least be consistent?They certainly regulate it and tax the hell out of it.
Maybe that needs to be the gun angle. $300 tax on every gun sold, $2 tax on every round of ammunition sold.
When the government holds the monopoly of violence on actions, then its deemed legal. Take murder, theft, and warfare for example. If a non-government entity does either it's illegal. Therefore, the government holds a monopoly of violence on those actions. If you dont comply with their rules, they reserve the right to take property, your life, or if you are another state entity, commit warfare against you.If it's legal, it's not theft - Capitalism 101
