WATCH: 'Queer' Teacher explains how she helps Third Graders explore gender identity
An "openly
queer" elementary
school teacher is going viral after being exposed for quietly helping third-grade
students find new
gender identities.
The teacher,
identified as Brianna Rose in a report, posted a video on TikTok in which she discussed the importance of a classroom safe space for gender-questioning elementary school students.
"I am an openly queer teacher," said Rose, who uses the name @zombriii94 on TikTok, in the video. "I wear a [bisexual] flag watch band, [bisexual] flag bracelet. In my classroom, I keep a rainbow flag."
"I am a safe place to talk without making a big deal out of being queer," the purple-haired teacher explains. "So, because I am openly queer, my students trust me, especially my queer students."
