Well not exactly. But the mentality of “looking for it” is a thing. He immediately dismissed the HBP on the first at bat. I hate that stupid rule. Drew didn’t lean in- he was still in his box and was in his swing motion. He just didn’t get out of the way. But umps can certainly egg it on.

I just want people to use common sense and realize it’s a high pressure situation. Everyone has a “look at me” mentality, and that’s not an ump’s ****ing job.

I think ND had a different strike zone than we did. Does that mean the umps favored ND? Maybe not, but they weren't calling balls and strikes consistently. That's a problem. It didn't cost us the game, per se, but it does affect the game. We can't pretend that poor officiating has no effect whatsoever. BUT, if Blade doesn't give up those home runs....

Drew had a right to be pissed. There were a lot of things he could have said and probably not have gotten ejected. Dropping the F-bomb directly in the face of the ump is not one of those things. That's never been seen as "allowed" in baseball. Ever. Players know that's an ejection.

All I’m saying is use common sense. That’s been thrown out in sports and society. If Drew had said, “you are a ****ing moron.” Then ok. What did he say?

We want college kids to be adults, but we allow umps and officials to have a really quick trigger in dealing with conflict. A lot of people in this world have trouble dealing with conflict. The ego is a terrible thing.

He said it right at the ump's face. He didn't even try to hide it. That gets you tossed every single time.

Sorry, I’m still new to watching, so please excuse my multiple mistakes, but this team made me a viewer (plus a friend suggested it). Even if we lose tomorrow, we’re not the losers (I refuse to believe that). I don’t care what any of you say or post, I’m happy for me that I found a new passion for another sport besides football and basketball.

Watching these commercials during the NBA finals make me realize the META is bigger than I imagined. Investing in this world is something else.
