Horrendous strike call.

Also can’t turn around and yell at the ump in his face that the call was effin terrible.

Not at all surprised he got ran for that one.

That's my hope. Absolutely hate they refuse to throw lower in the zone. Climb the ladder with two strikes. All of their big hits were waist high up over the plate. Pitching and umps lost this one.

The removing of the player from the game, eh. It’s common knowledge you can’t argue balls and strikes. If you’re slick about it then you can disagree with the ump. If you turn around in the box and yell that it’s effin terrible then you’re gonna get tossed, and frankly Gilbert should’ve known better. Love his fire, but made it too easy on the ump. Overall just a sh*t showing from the Vols in that one.

Nobody...no staff is on point every game...It is freaking impossible. The staff is in a slump at the worst possible time. The umps squeezing them is exasperating the situation...hell it may be causing it.

That gripe has never made sense to me. Complain if they swing at the first and it doesn't result in a hit. Complain if they don't swing at the first when it's a good pitch and say they should be swinging at first pitches.

You can say a lot of things to the ump. What Drew said is not one of those things. I thought the ump's strike call was BS, but Drew should have known better. That word always gets you ejected.

But man, that ump's strike zone was turrible!

I think part of it was Drew being so aggressive when he turned around to look at the ump. It definitely fired up the crowd and then he followed it up with the f bomb.
