In baseball, both are in the remaining 16 teams. Not sure if OU has any history, but Texas is essentially a blueblood in the sport.

Just making the league that much more cutthroat in multiple sports and lessening the great teams in other leagues...because who needs national balance and parity like those pro leagues aim for (what do they know?!). Eff Sankey. Again. That little man megalomaniac. A true moron.

You are the first person I’ve ever heard refer to the center fielder as the middle fielder. Assumed it was soccer influence.

Having said that, I’m now certain it’s going to cause me to slip up one day down the road and refer to a center fielder as a middle fielder. Thanks a lot.

Yeah I think it was a tee through 9-12 league thing. My first travel team and Bearden coaches called it center and I was confused at first myself 😭

What's wild is we started that year 15-2, 2-0 vs ranked teams (#1 Texas Tech and #25 Stanford). What could have been that year too...

By this reasoning, Tennessee football has been pretty awesome the last decade

I'll be honest I really enjoy watching soccer but don't really know their positions 🤣 Not a FIFA guy either, then I probably would.

I played AYSO as a kid...right up until they gave us positions...I was OUT. I just wanted to run wild, rogue style.

I'm also pretty sure my childhood coach was more of a professional bodybuilder than a baseball guy. Dude was STACKED. He wore short cutoff jean shorts every day of his life. Great guy. A decade later I saw his son (teammate) at a bowling alley and he mentioned his dad had just "come out"...I tried so hard to act shocked 😂
