yeah. champ is good. but i believe they messed up on that trade.. my beloved broncos are greatly missing a showcase rb.

Stats really don't mean much for a corner, the best CB in the NFL had 1 pick last year.

I understand what you're getting at... 'throw away from the cover corner' is the well-known point. But stats provided the most typical evidence cited in Woodson's case.

For example:
The Michigan Daily Online

If it works for Woodson, it should work for Berry.

Yet, the main point here in my post, is that UT has talent, and Bryce Brown or anyone else who challenges that assertion should 'open their eyes.'

Eric Berry's class has a lot of talent in it. He's not the only one... just the frontrunner as the best defensive player in college football in 2009. We don't have to worry about who our best player will be and whether Bryce will be better. We already know.

We may not have as much as we want... but let's not put these players down too much. They'll benefit from better coaching this year, and our defense was nothing to sneeze at last year.

Champ is better...Cortland Finnegan is better than Winfield...Bailey's main competition is Asomugha

Winfield and Asomugha were the top vote getters for their conferences (peers) for this year's Pro Bowl.

That vote includes fans too and is often a joke (Brett Favre is an example). If they led the peer vote specifically, that makes for a better argument but I believe that players can either only vote for players they've played against or cannot vote for those they've played - don't remember which. Either way, most players that vote have not seen both players, as the Titans and Vikings had almost no games in common. And even among the ones they did, the receivers are the only ones that would really know how well the corners were playing. The only players that can really accurately compare Finnegan and Winfield are the receivers from the teams that played both the Vikings and the Titans, which is a total of what...maybe 20 votes? The All-Pros are usually the most accurate judge. Those were Asomugha and Finnegan, even in Winfield's best season.

Good points.... :hi:

Winfield is really good too though. He and Finnegan are both physical and are similar, but I think both are behind Asomugha. Anyway, this has gotten really off-topic (partially my fault); any news on Brown's visit?

Thank you. But, I will decide how to conduct myself and when I have said what I needed to.

No. I came here looking for information.

But, I don't mind debating sports. It's actually a common practice amongst sports fans. I'm sorry that it has embittered you so much. Others here seem to be more relaxed about it.

It's ok to disagree with people and still talk civilly.

you are missing my point. go talk civilly in a thread other than this one. people come to this thread looking for information on bryce brown, but they can rarely find any because the thread is full of your dumb arguements.
