So you're saying a military alliance would rather have Sweden and Finland over Turkey (2nd largest military in NATO). Makes senseTurkey is likely looking for something in return. They'll come around. Besides IMO NATO would rather have Sweden and Finland than Turkey. Turkey is not as strategically important as they once were since we're not playing in the sandbox anymore. While Turkey receives most of their energy from Russia I don't really think Edrogan wants to become a Russian puppet.
Rand Paul has consistently been the most anti interventionist Republican in the Senate throughout his career. He also has consistently opposed the pervasive surveillance State. If you think this is just a recent switch to Curry political favor, you haven’t been watching very longRand did this for a reason. It's Republican election season. He has money ties to most republicans, and too the Russians. He was also getting HARASSED by the republican's herpies... trumpets. He really had no choice.
Oh, looks like they'll need another $15 billion for 3 more months...WOW... $8 billion in 3 months.
Ukraine Says $8.3BN Spent On War So Far As Zelensky Addresses Davos WEF | ZeroHedge
Also looks like Turkey is not looking favorably at adding Finland or Sweden to NATO...
They are addressing the gas crisis...Does anyone find it crazy that democrats and republicans have no problem with sending billions to Ukraine, but their hands are tied when it comes to the formula crisis, gas crisis and runaway inflation?
Two traditional western democracies with at least a Christian history over a genocidal imperalistic Islamic dictatorship that wishes to reestablish an overarching caliphate? So you're saying a military alliance would rather have Sweden and Finland over Turkey (2nd largest military in NATO). Makes sense
Not at all. Congress and DC in general are filled with arrogant narcissists - neither arrogance nor narcissism require any intelligence and certainly no introspection. It's easy for them to poop out ****** ideas - just as long as they are big ones ... require lots of money. Don't look for problems solvers anywhere near DC - probably goes for most major metropolitan areas, too.

They aren't giving back an inch of land they have taken or will take in the coming weeks. They will control southern and eastern Ukraine. So I don't agree that at best they will leave Ukraine and only control Crimea. Will it be worth the sacrifice? They is up for Russia to decide but they seem firmly behind this war. As for being a world power, they haven't been that for decades and quit frankly I don't think they are worried about that. I think there is a chance they come out of this much stronger economically and militarily.

You hit on something special here. Look up NARCISSIST. You are not the only one. It's a new world. TBH, I learn quick from the influencers, but I know they are being influencers. I do not like most of what the "content" based society has done to us, but I try to keep up. I watch what's going on. Everyone has the right to make a dollar in America, as long as you are a part of society. Anyone can make a dollar because of OPPORTUNITY. Opportunity is really what America is... and Putin, and others have used that against us. So, it is easy to have things like... "Mexico is the enemy" take hold. Let me tell you... Mexico might be a closer friend than canada. Mexico might be a better friend than the UK. Think about it. America is built as a great melting pot and that is by design. Ever hear of "The Brain Drain"? There is a reason that exists. Russia is finding out. America needs to focus on America's needs. Guess what is America's need? We are helping arm our enemie's enemy for a reason. I do not want to learn russian socialism.
You can bitch about everything in America as long as you want, but as long as Putin is in place it will exist. America has an interest in keeping the Kremlin from attempting expansionism. Nobody was trying to invade Russia. Russia attacked and invaded Ukraine.
You just answered your own question. The people reporting it need to be held accountable.
Mr. Smith Goes To Washington was a good movie. Maybe Jimmy Stewart can run.How about none of the above. How about someone who isn't a damn politician again. How about somebody who like the rest of us has been continually screwed over by politicians and DC bureaucrats and wants some payback.
LOL, and Conway needs to remember that Ruby Ridge, Waco and Elian Gonzales raid was on Clinton's watch... US govt attacks on American citizens, not foreigners.

That's about as close as you will get to the type of outsider you are talking about. Not unless we have an overthrow or uprising of some sort...
Well. You cant really say the Balkans were fine, and then mention how Austria Hungary got the Serbs. That area has been a pressure cooker since before the Roman's. Too many crossroads.
History has dumped more and more cultures into that small little area. For the longest time it was the Greeks pushing in from the southwest then The Huns pushed a bunch of tribes through that area from the north east, then the collapse of the Byzantines, and rise of the Ottomans pushed more from the south east.
Austria Hungary sorta kinda worked because it had a real strange government set up. Common ruler, common defense, but most matters were left up to the pieces.
You are correct. They are giving back kilometers of land (miles for us Americans), not inches. They aren't giving back an inch of land they have taken or will take in the coming weeks.
