War in Ukraine

Did I say they were fake or did I say polls are easy to fake?

LMAO.

That's some fine doublespeak there, comrade.

So, then, you're saying you agree that 66% of Americans believe we're providing Ukraine with "Not Enough" or "About Right" funding with only 12% believing we're providing "Too much".

Like I said in my prior post, you're in a tiny minority and on the wrong side of history. But I must admit, watching you get tossed around like a rag doll daily is entertaining.

Not doublespeak. I haven't looked into the poll. It could have just been poorly run and not faked. Either way, same outcome. If I were in a small minority, JD Vance wouldn't have won in Ohio and leading to flip a Ohio Senate seat. Deal with facts or play with your little poll.

Ukraine entering new phase of war, defence minister says

As we've been reporting, Ukraine's Defence Minister Oleksiy Reznikov has said the country is entering a new stage of the war.

Reznikov pledged to arm a million fighters using the new weapons and military equipment the US and other Western countries have been donating to the country over the last couple of weeks.

Ukrainian Army fields American-made M777 howitzer

Valeriy Zaluzhnyy posted Friday morning that Ukrainian Army began fielding the recently arrived M777 towed howitzers.

“Special greetings and thanks from our artillerymen to the American people for the M777 howitzer,” Zaluzhnyy wrote.

US and Australian Governments are sending batches of M777 howitzers to Ukraine to help the country defend itself against a further invasion by Russia.

The lightweight M777 155mm howitzer is an artillery piece utilized by the U.S. military and is capable of sending 155mm rounds 30 kilometers downrange. It requires an entire team of highly-trained Soldiers working hand-in-hand to operate the weapon correctly and efficiently. The U.S. has trained more than 300 Ukrainian artillerymen on the American-made M777 howitzer, with 50 more learning howitzer maintenance.

The M777 may be combined with the M982 Excalibur GPS-guided munition, which allows accurate fire at a range of up to 40 km (25 mi). This almost doubles the area covered by a single battery to about 1,250 km2 (480 sq mi).

Freeloaders...they'll make a perfect NATO member.

"The Finnish electricity network operator said it would be able to make do without Russian electricity.

'We're prepared for this and it won't be difficult. We can make do with a bit more imports from Sweden and Norway,' Fingrid's manager for operational planning Timo Kaukonen told AFP." - Source

oops.

The Pentagon talked to Russia today. Secretary of state to minister of defense. It was supposed to be very business like and stressed keeping open lines of communication. They had last talked on FEB 6th. Remember these people had a good open line of communication before pootin's endgame.

Pootins endgame...

Today, Finland announced it intends to start the formal application process to join the military pact, more than doubling NATO's presence on Russia's borders from 754 miles to 1,584 miles.

Do you make commercials for TV?

JD Vance just won in Ohio and will likely flip a Senate seat because of his not supporting this latest military misadventure. The American people don't give a crap about Ukraine or Russia for that matter.
It’s a Republican seat. He will fight to hold on to it.

They aren't giving back an inch of land they have taken or will take in the coming weeks. They will control southern and eastern Ukraine. So I don't agree that at best they will leave Ukraine and only control Crimea. Will it be worth the sacrifice? They is up for Russia to decide but they seem firmly behind this war. As for being a world power, they haven't been that for decades and quit frankly I don't think they are worried about that. I think there is a chance they come out of this much stronger economically and militarily.

Lol. This can’t be real. Your last sentence, for the second time today, is beyond foolish.

The Moskva sunk because of a combination of weather and irresponsible smokers on board according to you dopes. In reality, the Ukrainians put a couple new holes in it and sent those on board on a one way trip under the sea. The Russians are duct taping gps from kmart to their aircraft. Let that sink in 😂
Must suck for you to know the Russian military has been exposed as a complete embarrassment!
Actually the Moskva would have survived but the Russians decided to drill another hole to let the water out

Does anyone find it crazy that democrats and republicans have no problem with sending billions to Ukraine, but their hands are tied when it comes to the formula crisis, gas crisis and runaway inflation?

Not at all. Congress and DC in general are filled with arrogant narcissists - neither arrogance nor narcissism require any intelligence and certainly no introspection. It's easy for them to poop out ****** ideas - just as long as they are big ones ... require lots of money. Don't look for problems solvers anywhere near DC - probably goes for most major metropolitan areas, too.

How about none of the above. How about someone who isn't a damn politician again. How about somebody who like the rest of us has been continually screwed over by politicians and DC bureaucrats and wants some payback.

Rand did this for a reason. It's Republican election season. He has money ties to most republicans, and too the Russians. He was also getting HARASSED by the republican's herpies... trumpets. He really had no choice.

Dude you’re batting about zero in your predictions, worse than LG.

Unanimous agreement. Funny thing the one country who really shoudnt even be in NATO is pissy... but hes really upset that Sweden let in Turks who dont like him.

I'd trade Turkey for Finland and Sweden in a heartbeat. The only thing Turkey really has to offer is perhaps to limit access from the Med to the Black Sea ... and not to be a PITA launching point threatening other countries in that end of the Med. Swedes and Finns are worth having on our side - not sure Turkey is worth the effort; a world of difference in ethical behavior.

Here's an interesting story about Swedish pilots for those of you who have never heard of the incident.

Finally declassified: Swedish pilots awarded US Air Medals for saving SR-71 spy plane
