I thought SEATO died years ago, but yeah basically something like that but more than just SE Asia as the focus ... and with teeth like NATO.

Except that the problems in those countries [setting aside Kosovo] are not caused by religion but are proxy fights between Saudi and Iran and Greeks and Turks.
We could say the same thing about Christianity not being able to live peacefully with other religions, and we'd be wrong there too.

Nato absolutely has a right to take in a sovereign county that wants to be in it. I thought you were about personal freedom and choice? Unless it goes against what YOU believe

Then Ukraine should have been free to have a relationship with Russia when Yanukovych was president. After all he was elected fair and square. Donetsk and Luhansk should have its independence.

These are examples of personal choice and freedom. Are you for freedom and choice? Or only freedom and choice you agree with?

It wasn’t a fair election 😂. Voter fraud and intimidation by terrorists included. Which is why the Ukrainian people threw him out and exiled him to his precious Russia. You really are a Soviet dupe

This lines up with what I was told by "a person I know" in MI and that the Russian deaths are being undercounted bigly. 1/3 of their tanks gone is also on point. Russia has more than 3,300 tanks, but the vast majority of them have not been maintained and have essentially been mothballed for decades and are no where near being war ready, let alone being serviceable. Part of that corrupt Russian culture. They pay to have them maintained, the contractor just takes the money and doesn't do anything else.

Can you prove it wasn't a fair election? Or is it something you read on the internet and it must be true LMAO.

You've already shown your true colors on here multiple times when it comes to freedom and personal choice that you don't agree with.

Are you suggesting that literally everyone else in the world is wrong about the 2014 election there? I mean there are literally tons of articles about it and it’s in actual history books. The Ukrainian parliament and their people themselves threw the autocrat out of office and exiled him and he went to putin and begged to be a Soviet again.

There are also articles out there to disprove your point. We can go in circles all day about that.

There was also a college textbook from a history class I took that was praising the Carter administration and trashing the Reagan administration. So I should believe what the textbook said?

That was from a university here in the United States. I was making the point that even our own history textbooks here in the U.S. are obviously flawed. There's also the Southern Strategy myth these college textbooks are teaching. I can tear apart that myth in no time.

Second. I've been told college professors are nothing but a bunch of liberals. Why I should listen to them if they are a bunch of liberals? Same with our mainstream media. I don't need to listen to them and need to do my own research and come up with my own conclusions. Correct?

I'm a free and independent thinker. That's what I've been encouraged and told I should do years ago and is exactly what I have done. Or is free and independent thinking something you are against?

False pretense. There is no peace and order in the region. Putin has been actively sponsoring uprisings and using them as justification to annex regions of other countries.

I think the common social distancing guidelines suffice. But again he called for voluntary action that would lower infection rates and with no penalties. It's like someone saying cover your mouth when you cough.
