Fortunately for Ukraine, it's not 600,000 combat troops. You have to remember, Russia's entire logistics system, is literally human-powered. Kind of how it looks to a degree. My take is work off the 28 part plan, which is kind of idiotic in nature and just keep scratching the players that don't want to play. Europe has no real incentive to stop the war unless its a Russia collapse, and the Ukraine leadership has no incentive to stop the war because the Ukraine will lose all funding and the leadership will be hunted down by their own people.

Easiest way out at this point without sanctioning Europe and the Ukraine is to start normal relations with Russia and unfreeze the Russian assets for either partial payment or joint economic benefit. The rest will eventually just work itself out if not very quickly. The U.S than goes from being on the losing team to either on the side lines or the winning team. The winning team are the good guys and will write the history.

Timing is ticking on the Russia assets so if Trump wants to turn this loser into an even hand, time is probably of importance, or the U.S. will be on the side of the losing bad guys yet again.
