I had family at the Auburn series, and they said UT fans applauded politely as Hayden Mullins left the game. Perhaps a few fans near his mother said things they shouldn't have, but the overall crowd didn't behave inappropriately. She's projecting isolated behavior, if it happened, onto thousands of people who were generally respectful to her son and his injury.

In an SEC series where the stakes are high, both teams give as good as they get. Putting UT in the headline and throwing some dirt just gets more clicks.

On the VQ Podcast, Rob said Barnes does not agree with giving a large NIL deal to recruits due to recruits not having "sweat equity." Worrisome for future recruiting imo.

Worst case we go away from 1 and dones (the guys wanting millions) and we can then put up better (non-huge) offers to outbid others on top 100 players that Barnes can develop over years. Maybe not the worst thing. Kansas just won it all without a single 5*. Baylor before that and then Nova. The teams full of one and dones have not been winning it lately.

Between snakes,lighting bolts and everything else we see crawl out a toilet,it really makes a man enjoy taking a nice sh*t out in nature..True random story im hiking one day butthole starts puckering so I take a detour...I see this nice log to sit on im like "Hey you" haha look down and it's a roll of toilet paper Yahtzeeeee....Needless to say I found my own little spot but a roll of paper in the woods,yep somebody was looking at for ur boy that day.

So Sankey is going to congress to try to lobby with the NCAA to put regulations on the NIL….pretty much confirms he is Saban’s lapdog. Absolutely ridiculous these guys are making millions but want stipulations on what players make and how they make it because certain schools are better at NIL

Barnes has never liked the NIL landscape. He didn't like it when it was all about money and he dislikes it more now that recruits and their entourage are asking for other things he thinks should be totally off-limits. It was always going to go this way. Recruits who think they're worth more keep upping the stakes, and the more schools offer, the more they want. Then the next recruit thinks he needs to top what was offered before. As long as other schools are willing to consider deal sweeteners for top recruits, it will not only continue, but escalate.

Combine this with the transfer portal, and coaches are having to consider supersized bundles to land top players while re-recruiting their own players to stay. If some players don't get the right combo deal of money, playing time and perks, they portal out. We've already seen that happen. UT has portaled out players we thought were staying and failed to bring in portalers we need due to demands outside the comfort zone. Not sure any coach loves the new landscape, but some hate it more than others.

I took it to mean a focus on paying players who’ve proven something on the d1 level. So transfers more than 1 and dones. That’s at least how I took it.
