So I’m assuming you have to get neekid for the exam. Orange likeI had a melanoma more than 10 years ago (I think that makes me a survivor). I get the head to toe check every year now (!), but no recurrence. My scar went away 90%. Best wishes to you.
Edit: Doc said, "That is the most perfect example I have ever seen. Mind if I bring my students in to see it?" I said, "Anything for science, doc. Glad to be of service." She laughed.
You'll be fine. Heart goes out to you and your better half in the meantime.

It is truly remarkable that he went deaf (beginning with the 6th, I think) and continued writing astounding music. It is said that when he decided to conduct his last himself (the 9th) there was a second conductor standing beside him who the orchestra and chorus were guided by. And when the final note sounded one of the singers from the chorus walked forward and turned him toward the crowd during the ovation. (He knew the symphony was finished, of course: he was following the entire thing in his head and on paper, but I suppose he was stunned at the silence and knowing it was his finale.) He could not hear the cheers. Everything since the 5th he had heard entirely in his head. He stood there and looked at them applauding.Volnation "It's only May" challenge: Listen to all 9 of Beethoven's symphonies. You can find them on YouTube. Look for the ones without ads. I did it. Nothing like walking around with a Beethoven earworm.
